As a BBQ afficiado, I'm always interested in learning about new joints. My current go-to is Rollin' Smoke over on the SW side on W Flamingo and gotta be honest, looking at what you ordered, I'd likely stick with Rollin' Smoke.
I appreciate the fact that you take a bite of food and a couple of chews and then you edit to a clear comment with no chewing and talking. Very rare in creators. It's also apparent that you have some type of restaurant or cuisine background. Keep going.
It's mostly for pacing. I don't think anyone wants to watch me chew for a minute or two lol. I scooped ice cream at Häagen-Dazs in high school and I was a server/host at Dennys during college but otherwise no formal food training. I just eat and cook a lot on my own lol. Thanks for watching!
Nice Vid We stick with the Rollin Smoke on Highland ! Best BBQ in Vegas in our opinion. The other Rollin Smokes are franchises😢 the one on Highland is the original Rollin Smoke
I'd go back for the brisket sandwich for sure! I'm also enjoying exploring local recommendations from viewers. I'm having a good time. Thanks for watching!
Shins video reviews for Vegas is the BEST 👍...all the food looked scrumptious 😊...too bad for me, can't eat any bbq 😢...enjoy and have a great week til Sat 😋🤗❤
Good suggestion to review this restaurant. The chili with the big chunks of brisket looked so good along with the hot link, brisket sandwich, chicken and fried shrimp. It all looked pretty good though.
EVERYTHING LOOKS REALLY GOOD TO ME. I AM ADDING THIS PLACE TO MY CHECK OUT LIST. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION SHIN, KEEP UP THE SPECTACULAR WORK 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😄👍🏼😋😋😋
I'm moving from Texas to Las Vegas. Can't wait to hit up the BBQ spots to compare. The beef rib looked over cooked though. I'm not sure why they would use penne for a Mac and Cheese.
I've heard of Bell's from other channels, but there is way, way better BBQ joints in Vegas. There's specifically a Texas BBQ spot that has (supposedly) really good brisket and burnt ends. And they also make a brisket chili that I've actually had (a friend of mine had some sent to me along with some pork ribs, which were also quite good, but remember those were dry ice/frozen) so yeah, there are some good spots for BBQ in Vegas for sure. I'll try to find the email receipt from this place I was talking about if you want the recommendation since I don't' remember the name (it's been 4 years, sorry!)
I'll be continuing my exploration of BBQ restaurants out here so hopefully I'll find out all the spots too! I'm looking forward to hearing what your BBQ experience is here coming from Texas. Thanks for watching!
VWS: $116 for all that food was super cheap !!! Overall looked like several menu were very good. The hotdog 🌭 reminded me of a New Jersey ripper ( called that because they fey the hotdog and it rips ). Brisket sandwich looked very appetizing. Overall a local winner. Thanks Shin see you Saturday
I won't get on to a mom and pop to bad because I know they live hard core by the margins so I get why the cheese sauce might be a tad watery. But they can fix that by using Elbow Macaroni instead, even with a watery like cheese sauce the elbow pasta will capture some of the sauce inside it unlike the type of noodle they used. Also, maybe they need to branch away from the pepper-jack style that requires a more expensive cheese and use a Velveeta type cheese sauce that will be thicker. Then just add some Jalapeno's in it for some kick. Nothing wrong with Velveeta, when it is used correctly. If I was in Las Vegas I would visit here because it is important to support Mom and Pop places, also the food doesnt have to be amazing just worth the price. SHIN look forward to the next! Bell's BBQ is a SOLID 4 and worth visiting.
Some good observations there. I still really liked this spot. $96 for everything I had I thought was pretty reasonable. If it was closer to me, I'd go back for that brisket sandwich pretty often. Thanks for watching!
I live in an area where Barbecue is king so I enjoyed this video. I like that the menu had different food selections vs your standard fare. I am especially happy to see chicken on the bone as a menu offering. What happened to chicken on the bone? Most restaurants across America only serve some form of chicken breast (with the exception wings). It’s rather difficult to find a piece, half or whole chicken on the bone anywhere. Having said that, restaurants are charging at least $30++ for a whole chicken if they have it on the menu. You have to love the $4.98 rotisserie chicken at Sam’s club for the value and flavor. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, that's curious most places have swapped over to sliced up chicken or breasts like you say. Very hard to beat the value of a Sam's Club bird. Thanks for watching!
I’ve been told a few times that proper bbq smoked ribs are meant to have a bit of chew vs. being totally fall off the bone super tender. Either way I tend to stray away from places that have a “kids eat free” night. Lol. I saw they had a big sign for it.
I like the kids eat free type of sign because it really stamps the mom and pop shop vibe. I didn't dislike the rib for its chew. But on a personal level I would have liked it to be a tad softer. But the brisket was fantastically soft. Thanks for watching!
Also, I ALL that food for $116? That's pretty good!! I thought it would be a lot more for some reason. And I LOVE catfish...I'll ask for them to skip on the onions then if I go. Thank you again!!
I want you to go try the Golden Steer steak house ! It’s the best my favorite they have the biggest lobster tails and steaks and the Caesar salad 🥗is amazing ! It’s one of the oldest and best steak houses in Vegas Elvis & Dean Martin favorite spot to . It’s a must try ✅
I'm happy to hear you enjoy the videos! I'll be at the MGM Grand for dinner tomorrow night if she would like to stop by to say hi. Thanks for watching!
Another great vid. I'd get the brisket sandwich. Never heard of pickle in Cole Slaw. But ok... Lol. Don't like the tip added on. And automatic 20 percent. What if you had crappy service. I would be asking them to not include that. Doubtful I'd go there on my next visits to Vegas.
Over the last. heck I don't know how many videos, it's become clear to me we share a very similar palaet. So when you say "it's okay", well honestly, for the (well deserved) price of good BBQ, I need more than "Okay" to head over and give it a try. Of course, people with different taste palates may find it amazing, so please everyone do try to support our local resturants, just don't order the whole menu like Shin does before you know it's to your taste.
While not the best BBQ I've had in my life, I still thought the majority of the food here was good and at $96 for everything I ate, I thought the prices were very reasonable. A solid spot for locals I'd say. Thanks for watching!
Whenever I hear beef ribs, I think of the Dino ribs/beef short rib. Their ribs are so so, when I want Dino ribs, I hit Rolling Smoke. They have better ribs.
The BBQ and sides looked only meh. To be honest looked a little "rushed" vs slow cooked. Lacked juice and smokey tenderness you get with really good BBQ. Hey shin, would love a critique of a top BBQ joint if you ever get out of vegas.
I thought it was decent for local BBQ but they're not going out winning competitions. Maybe one day I'll be out there trying more but for now, I'm a regional CZcamsr. Thanks for watching!
Tyvm and yqw, mp buddy...I tell it like I see it 😊😋...I usually speak my mind if I don't like someones comments but I might be BANNED for life from YT 😋🤣🤣🤣
Salt Lick is decent..next time when in Austin try Terry Black’s bbq…I’m an Austinite so I know…btw, not knocking your content as I actually love your channel and content…just the bbq thing for Vegas was entertaining for me 😊
Just found this video so sorry for late response. If you ever come to the RGV visit Longhorn Cattle Co. Really good bbq and all the charro beans you can eat.
Do the owners or management of these restaurants ever ask you for your opinions? Or would that become uncomfortable for both you and them? I hope that they will welcome your views and you might learn about their goals and processes.
Currently my favorite is Big B's but that's because they're 5 minutes away lol. I hear great things about Rollin' Smoke but I've only had their take out before and I haven't eaten there for a video yet. I got some more BBQ places on the list to show on the channel eventually. Thanks for watching!
I took a lot of the B-Roll when the place was emptier. But when I left, the place was about 75% full and there were people picking up for delivery services pretty regularly. It's not the best BBQ I've ever had, but I did enjoy myself. Thanks for watching!
I thought the prices here were quite reasonable. I tipped 20% but all the food I had was under $100 with tax. I think that's pretty good. Thanks for watching!
What's your favorite BBQ in Las Vegas?
Rick's
As a BBQ afficiado, I'm always interested in learning about new joints. My current go-to is Rollin' Smoke over on the SW side on W Flamingo and gotta be honest, looking at what you ordered, I'd likely stick with Rollin' Smoke.
Rollin’ Smoke for beef ribs..
Jessie Rae's BBQ
John Mull’s or Jessie Rae’s. 100%. Everything else is mediocre.

The fried shrimp and the brisket sandwich would be my choice. Ty for another great review.😊
Yes! I really enjoyed both. Thanks for watching!
What a nice looking place to eat….enjoyed your video and I would probably get the coleslaw and shrimp for sure….😊
A very cozy place to get some food! If I was local to the area I could see myself getting sandwiches here really often. Thanks for watching!
Love all our reviews AND your new hair cut!
Thank you very much!
You’re living the life! everything u review looks so good 😂
I'm certainly enjoying myself lol. Thanks for watching!
Professional bite! Shins buffet is better than almost all Vegas ones
I love my buffets lmao. Thanks for watching!
Another great informative video, thank you Shin!
You got it! Thanks for watching!
The brisket sandwich looks amazing!
It was so good! Thanks for watching!
The shrimp looks like it would be my choice. Thank you for another great review.

@@bestbitesBAM It's good BBQ. No, that's not right, it's great BBQ.
I do have Rollin' Smoke on the list and will check it out this year most likely. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin but the only good Rollin Smoke out of the 3-4 there is, is only the original one on Highland
That Texas toast sized sandwich looked really good.
Yes! I would eat just about anything between that bread lol. Thanks for watching!
Ah yes! Bell's! They are my go-to bbq and don't sleep on the mustard bbq sauce! Thanks for the video again!
Yes! The mustard sauce was really good! I liked it a lot. Thanks for watching!
Bells looks pretty good. Differently one to try. Also, you looked great today. 🌻
I enjoyed myself here. Some good dishes for sure. Thanks for watching!
Title should read: Bells BBQ, Saved by the Sauce.
LOL! I did like the sauces but some of the meats were just fine without. Thanks for watching!
The art of BBQ. When done well a very enjoyable meal. Always appreciated. Stay hungry!
I love BBQ! Even decent BBQ is usually really tasty. Thanks for watching!
The hot link! IN the Texas toast!! My husband and I tried to think of a food we wouldn't eat in that toast. We couldn't think of anything!!
I would eat just about anything between that bread as well! So good! Thanks for watching!
Ooh! First thing to order is that brisket sandwich. This is fun seeing the local spots!😀
I'd go back for the brisket sandwich for sure! I'm also enjoying exploring local recommendations from viewers. I'm having a good time. Thanks for watching!

Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
I did enjoy 😉 knew you would ❤️ the prawns shrimp 🦐 looks delicious
Yes the shrimp was absolutely the sleeper hit for me. It was very good. Thanks for watching!
How can you not like cornbread, yummiest 😊
I couldn't stop eating it lol. Thanks for watching!
So many things looked good there! Love the ala cart options. Give me some brisket chili and corn bread, I’d be in heaven 😇
I love when BBQ is served a la carte as well! It really lets you get in on a lot of meats. Thanks for watching Lucia!
This place is definitely going on my list of what to try when in Vegas. The brisket sandwich looked like the thing to try💯
Yes! I really like their Texas toast here. I would eat just about anything between two slices of that bread.

Wow Shin. This place is sooo much cheaper than ANYTHING here in L.A!! Nice video. Seems like it's worth a try.
I was surprised that everything I got came out to about $96. My 20% tip took it to $116. Really not bad at all. Thanks for watching!
Th Shrimp or Brisket would be my choice. Thanks Shin for sharing your experience. Have a great rest of the week!

@VegaswithShin honestly that was enough food for 8 people so a great value. 👍
That coleslaw looked good. IMO the best side for any BBQ is a good coleslaw. It's not just a side for a BBQ, it's a condiment as well.
I agree! A great coleslaw makes for a great BBQ meal because it's the one typical side that helps cut through all the richness. Thanks for watching!

Sounds like the Shrimp was a sleeper hard to beat good cole slaw
