- Although we have claimed that the new Ford Bronco Raptor is arguably one of the best 'right-out-of-the-box' all-around off road vehicles ever, that doesn't mean that there isn't room for improvement. And we all know the regular Ford Bronco has a LOT of room for improvement. So we decided to show you how to install one of the most enjoyable modifications you can make to your Bronco!

Just installed mine about 90 Minutes, also had to remove Bestop to reinstall rear panel. You video on a Braptor was a big help.
You guys always make the installs so much funnier and the scenery is AMAZING & AWESOME!!!

I do believe my Iconic Silver Braptor needs that top.. great video guys… I tuned in for the Bronco top but soon realized the other “top” had my undivided attention. In any event, both tops are great. 😂

I have this for my 2 door. Even though the panels are relatively easy to take off the sunrider is so much better

I love the sunrider for hardtops. I have 1 on my jlu wrangler. But do fill out the warranty card. My cables broke after 4 years of use. Bestop sent me a brand new one. Awesome 👌
Their warranty is pretty top notch!

We put the Sunrider top/half top on Christine’s Gladiator. A good modification!

I add a new Sun Rider to my 2018JK last Oct and after a couple weeks it started to rattle bad from the 3rd bow, still working on trying to quiet it down, so much better than TEE TOPS but I got to say a loud rattle gets old on a week end trip

Great video guys! I had this top on my Jeep JK and although I loved it, it absolutely was much louder with the Bestop, definitely more than 15% LOL. So now that you've had it a while, are you still okay with it on the highway regarding noise levels? I'm leaning towards buying it for my Bronco now. Thanks again, love your stuff.
I just got my wife a 23 wildtrak and she loves it. Being retired Navy and OCD I always do my research and that's how I found you guys. We really enjoy your videos. You guys make a great team and don't feed your viewers any BS on products giving a honest assessment. I have been restoring classics for over 40yrs and being a disabled vet it's what keeps me going each day. We have a term used in the Navy, Bravo Zulu which means well done and is not used lightly. BRAVO ZULU, love you guys.
there should be a hard top where you just push the front panels up and have them slide back on a rail

I really only have 2 complaints with my soft top - no rain gutter, and wrinkly rear side windows. Functionally I've had zero problems here in the pacific northwest where it rains 8 months out of the year.

I had one of these on my 2 door and it was awful. The wind noise at highway speeds (when its closed) was so bad you couldn't talk to anyone and without back windows to crack the wind when it was open its a maelstrom in there. Needless to say I took it back off pretty quickly. I also owned one on a previous JL Rubicon 4dr and it was awesome. I believe the wind noise is so bad because unlike the jeep it does not sit flush across the back there are two raised areas one on either side that catch the wind. In the video at 13.26 you can see the raised portion I'm talking about.
Was the same problem on the Buick Grand National T top, once you take the T tops off there was no where to put them.

I agree, the Bes†op is a great upgrade. One of my favorite things I did to my JK. Cruising PCH with the top up was awesome and being able to see the moon and stars at night was cool too!

The hard top sucks too. We have air leaks like crazy. The rear hatch leaks water and dust. After a day in the dirt with all windows up the inside is covered in dirt.
In all fairness, I totally forgot we had a water leak right before our Arctic Cirlce trip. LOL

I replaced the Freedom panels on my wife's Wrangler with that type of roof. Best upgrade so far.

A Wrangler is the best Bronco upgrade.
Love mine, but it creaks on bumps on the road, trail beach when the temps go below 63 degrees. All the time every time no matter how I tighten the bolts.
Can the 2nd panel be removed if you wanted to take the whole top off after this is added?
Will it slam shut if you break hard?

Note you can still use a sunshade with these tops. I have a bald head and rely on the sunshades.
At least Caral Shelby knew how to scale Ford in the 1966 to 1969 Mustangs, same 427’s same transmission’s same brakes. And produced a lot of profitable product at “scale”. That could be aforable to the American worker at a 40 hour work week.
