Regarding the Spanish Army 🇪🇸🫡 (6:00), it’s one of the oldest active armies in the world, having been in service since the 15th century. Its headquarters is in Madrid and the Captain General is the King of Spain 🤴🏻, Felipe VI. It is also present in numerous international missions within the framework of the UN 🇺🇳, NATO and the EU 🇪🇺 (Eastern Europe, Turkey 🇹🇷, Lebanon 🇱🇧, Iraq 🇮🇶, Senegal 🇸🇳, Mali 🇲🇱, the Central African Republic 🇨🇫, Djibouti 🇩🇯 and Somalia 🇸🇴).

The figures are misleading.
1 How many of these are new recruits in training and not yet fully productive? A technician or engineer can take years to become effective.
2 How many reserves won’t show up if a conflict happened? A recent example is Russians avoiding mobilisation / conscription and fleeing.
3 Does paramilitary include support roles such as law enforcement? Such as Gendarmerie or Carabinieri?
