Just imagine the amount of time it will take if every assembled plane is tested like you said.... only pre production models suffer that test.

You are incorrect in stating that "the aircraft are subjected to vigorous testing after production." These tests are performed on pre-production aircraft as part of the type certification testing to demonstrate that the aircraft meets or exceeds or the type certificate and production certificate requirements in 14 CFR part 21 and 14 CFR part 25 (for transport category aircraft) or their equivalent for aircraft whose State of manufacturing is not the USA. It is only after this testing is satisfactorily completed, that the aircraft is issued a Type Certificate and the manufacturer is issued a Production Certificate allowing it to manufacture and sell the aircraft. Each production aircraft undergoes a thorough production testing process before delivering it to the customer but not as extensively as during type certification testing. The type certification testing for transport category aircraft can take years; production testing takes many weeks. Before accepting a new aircraft, the customer also does their own testing and inspection of the aircraft.

There is no vertical takeoff test. It’s a demonstration not a test.

Scary tests for sure. I would hope never to be involved in a situation where one of these maneuvers was required! 😮😮😮

Think I will stick with my low wing prop piper. Heavy iron was nothing I ever even dreamed of doing even though all the flight parameters are the same as for light aircraft its just humongously larger and takes more training and hours.

Were I the producer, I would tighten up the writing of these narrations. For instance, listen to your first sentence, the one about aircraft being complex. That first sentence is known as a "stall sentence." That means the sentence doesn't move the storyline forward. It states the obvious. Begin the narrative with something interesting that advances the storyline. These narrative, in general, are sooo boring. Even a purely desriptive narrative can be written interestingly. In fact, this entire narrative is full of stall sentences.
