god i remeber when i first got my 3070 when it came out and i tried 4k max settings + ray tracing and got like 70+ fps in MW2019 and i was so suprised at how good it was but like this is crazy, idk how they keep making them better and better each year, tech is moving so fast

What a massive improvement from the last 6 years it's like the the new 1080ti 10 series were crazy alot more faster than the 9 series . But this I'd just turned up to the next level that what we wanted thr 1180ti to be . Just amazing 👏 now I want to see what 4060 6gig lol will be like

Loved your video, but i have a question.I have the same specs, just my psu is thor 850 and i had to use daisy chain cable for two of the adapters. My gpu usage is between low, between 70-85 , is it psu ? Or something else ?
I do think they just didn't make the textures so insanely detailed this time so it is much more optimized for a variety of PC specs. I run a 1050ti and this game looks like something I can run on lowest settings
The recommended GPU is a 1060. You can probably run it on Medium.

Modern Warfare from 1,2,3 has always been amazing and it will still be. I am actually watching this on my phone at 1440p60 but damn it looks brilliant.

Great vid Kryzzp! You should test a game called Teardown on the RTX 4090. It’s a voxel destruction game, and can bring a lot of cards to their knees.
I noticed some screen tearing in parts of the game but very minimal. Is that due to the video being played back at 60fps or is it in game?

Great video , i was actualy looking for what will be the power cunsumption; this is insane 400w and soon we may see some of diy projects about how to cook steak with 4090 while playing games :D and the temps was bulk i think that means core was arround 100-110°C maybe more. Nvidia is fire in the hole this time. However if you want to experience raw details, and business + gaming this is the best option.

Not at all, 100% GPU bound at 4K.
I tried a bit of 720p and it was getting close to 400 fps, so quite a bit of headroom with this CPU
i have 3080/ i5 11600k build, i can say that this game runs at 144-180 fps on extreme graphics preset all day. at 1440p I was hitting 200fps sometimes. Well optimized

How weird, I have a 3080 with a Ryzen 5900X and was getting between 60-90 with maxed out everything

What is the refresh rate of your monitor? the 4090 only has DP 1.4a so 120hz @ 4k is max unless you start cutting out HDR and such.

@@dionwest7880 thats fps not hz. hz is the max displayed output of your monitor. FPS is the output number of frames which are handed to the monitor to display. DisplayPort 1.4a says it supports 4k@120hz, so even if the gpu is doing 180fps average, the monitor only shows 120 in that case
@@Vartazian360 yeah and if your monitor is 120hz you should just lock your fps or get double because at really high fps you might start seeing ghosting

I have a Ryzen 5 5600x, 3060ti, 32gb 3200mhz ram, 1080p 165hz, pretty much pegged at 165fps the whole campaign. Edit: was at 165 fps because I had vsync on, I reckon it could've went much higher.

No, if the GPU usage is at 99% there is no bottleneck :)
Most games won't be CPU bottlenecked at 4K ultra with this CPU and a 4090 btw

I own the RX 4090. Played the entire campaign at 4k, extreme settings, with DLSS quality and it was locked at 120fps the entire game. Looked and played amazingly.
I have a 120 Hz TV. And I play multiplayer using 4K Extreme settings and don’t see a single drop in frame rate.
call of duty is fps game who really optimized for all gpus
Yeahhh the textures could use an upgrade. you can enable texture streaming and set the cache to 64gb, I don't know if that actually does anything noticeable though.
It was on, but on default 32gb. I doubt it makes a difference!

If you already have the AMD platform just get this.
From the hardware unboxed testing it performs on par (14 game average) with the 13700K, it wins some and loses some. In the games where this bottlenecks a 4090, the i7 will also bottleneck it, the card is just a beast!

Would you say the 5800x3d is a lot better for performance than the 5900x? Some games my like battlefield 2042 and some others my gpu usage is only like 50%! I think more cpu bound games struggling with my 5900x and 4090 especially with 1440p the bottleneck is too much
Most games will run noticeably better than the 5900X but I wouldn't upgrade from it, the 5900X is a really good CPU, I miss it for rendering 🥲
In CPU intensive games even the 13900K will bottleneck a 4090, especially at 1440p, the GPU is a beast. I didn't recommend it for 1440p gaming actually, maybe get a big 4K monitor and enjoy better visuals instead of upgrading the CPU ;)
Yeah 4K will utilize more of the GPU, most games should be GPU bound at that resolution unless the game is very CPU intensive (like BF2042 is) but still, if it got 50% usage at 1440p it should get at least 90% at 4K!
If you then decide you want more FPS for example in competitive shooters, it's good to wait for ryzen 7000 3D, I'll do that myself, and it's not like the games will be unplayable with a 5900X anyway :)

I have been using my 4090 to play games in 4k without dlss. I average over 60fps on vast majority of games maxed out, and on more demanding games I hot 60 fps easy with some slight frame drops to 55fps, even on a 10700k OC to 5.1ghz. It's a great card.
Is dlls not good at 4k ? Can you see a difference?
@@yoool7137 DLSS on quality looks fine, but it's not the true 4k experience. DLSS essentially uses AI to upscale lower resolution images to 4k in order to increase FPS

Single player is much more intensiv than ground war in the beta.
My rtx 3080 12gb needs dlss at 1440p to keep over 100 fps in some scenes😅
and my pc rtx 2060 12 gb 1080p 100 fps stable
damn. I run native 1440p with 3080ti and get 110+ max settings. sometimes 170fps
