  • Electric tricycles are for all ages. Kids can use them, provided that there is adult supervision. Meanwhile, tired adults who want to take transportation into their own hands can rely on electric trikes and ditch the costly and environmentally detrimental vehicles. It's also the best choice for senior citizens who are trying to get themselves more physically active. The best thing about electric trikes is that even PWDs, or passengers with disabilities, have the chance to try this efficient mode of transportation.
    Even with enough knowledge and research, it can be overwhelming to compare and determine the best electric trike for your needs. No worries, we got your back!

    1. You need to make clear whether this is a true market review or just the bikes you sell and have on hand. 2. You need to provide at least a reasonable estimate of how much each costs. 3. You need to narrow down the cross-section of types so you get bikes designed for retired people who need moderate speed for sidewalk/some street riding in semi urban areas, and a way of securely locking the battery.

    Congratulations! I'm disabled and have been looking into these too, I can walk but just can't go too far I use a four wheel walker, I want one! Because it's hard being crippled & going outdoors!

    I’m seeing an average price of about three thousand for these. The “Workman’s” is a cheap conversion generic type. Buying a heavy trike online is risky due to customer service problems and long distance repairs/replacement issues.

    the first bike you say is a 500W rear drive motor when it is clearly mounted on the front hub...so what's with that ??

    If it doesn't tilt it's dangerous cornering above walking speeds

      6 figure income required, plastic fenders and chain guard, no quick seat adjustment, brake the bank at $4300 plus, speaking of brakes at that price u would expect hydraulic brakes. Hard pass

    This is an advertisement of trikes the sell. They don't list tire size, number of gears, max speed nor price.

    • @RRW359
      @RRW359 Před 2 lety

      That's probably true, but they mentioned the max speed for a lot of these. Obviously they are all 15-20 since that's the limit.

    Your website has way too many pop ups. I have trouble seeing what you have. Very annoying. It seems by browsing your store that these bikes you "review" are the ones you stock. No mention of any other trikes. This is more like a sales video than any type of review.

    Not one of these is tilting the front like a normal bike, so all of them are prone to easily flip over in a corner.

      It's easier to get used to when to turn/at what speeds if you are new to riding as opposed to being used to biking.

      Why would you want to tilt a tricycle? Would you tilt a car? 3 and 4 wheeled vehicles need slowing down when turning a corner, it's common sense. *%*!*%!

      @@Accuface2000 Try the Butchers & Bikes MK1e, tadpole trike that lets you lean into corners, more stable for the passenger and rider too.

    I just bought a Daywin MG 1703. I'm telling you not to buy any of these because they are ONLY for level flat ground. Period. No one will tell you that fact. No manufacturer, no reviewer. They cannot be controlled to go straight on a crowned road or slightly slanted as they drift to the ditch. No amount of leaning helps or even attempting to steer the other way which it will not allow anyway. According to the return policy at mobilityparadise my bike is disqualified because I destroyed the box and put the bike together and used it. Restock fee of $400 plus original free shipping deducted from refund and shipping back at my expense. $2,300 paid. 400 + what- 4- 500 shipping? Leaves what? But then, I'm disqualified anyway for a return. I will not even give it away and will likely burn it up. Look for youtube video on this event sometime soon.

    Please note: Everywhere I know in the USA, it's not legal to ride bikes on sidewalks. Maybe allowances would be made for children on unpowered bikes, but not adults and not on powered bikes.

    • @CaseyDarwin

      In the state of Virginia bikes are allowed on all sidewalks unless a local ordinance prohibits it which rarely exist.

    • @RRW359
      @RRW359 Před 2 lety +1

      In Oregon and Washington conventional bikes are allowed on sidewalks, although there are some areas like *Downtown Portland where they aren't. In Oregon one of the few differences between ebikes and conventional bikes is that the law specifically says they can't go on the sidewalk, however in Washington both class 1 and 2 ebikes are allowed (although I believe the State allows local jurisdictions to ban them).
      *That's not to say I don't see people riding them here all the time, sometimes even the orange rentable bikes that are technically ebikes.

    • @stephenpowstinger733
      @stephenpowstinger733 Před 2 lety +2

      In Florida we’re seeing more and more electric bikes and trikes. The laws have loosened up a little but many riding conditions are of ambiguous legality.
      In many populated congested areas like Tampa riding in the street is suicide.
