Better than Brownells video. Thank you.
Wow! What an amazing compliment! Iâm so humbled. Thank you SO MUCH. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the support!
@@TheGunLove I've had my 590 since 2008 and it sits by the door. Light cleaning just one time when new. Thought I should clean the thing the right way. I watched 6 videos today and yours is the winner. 2nd best chopped and cut once too often. You didn't.
@@ElainesDomain You have no idea how much you just made my day! Thank you for sharing that with me! Iâm working hard to put out cleaning videos that are consistent and correct. I really, really appreciate you! Thank you so much. đ„°
@@TheGunLove Geez...don't get all mushy on me. I'm just an old guy that likes revolvers.
Roll Tide
very well done
Thank you!!!!! I could NOT have put mine back together without your video! Wish I could give you 100 likesđ!
Thank you so much for sharing that! I am SO GLAD that I could help! Your comment it more than enough! If there are any other firearms that you want to see field stripped or cleaned, please let me know. I have many others filmed already, but learning how to edit and doing this has taken me time! Iâm back and committed to help our community more!
Your video was extremely helpful. Thank you and be well!
New guy here - just subscribed. Does this girl have "Buy Me A Coffee" turned on? Or the 'SuperThanks' thingy? You could do that if so.
I rage quit trying to do this last night. Thank you for making the best video on this process. Thank you for slowing down on reassembly and showing how things need to be aligned. Thank you thank you thank you
Thank you! Finally a video with great lighting and a accurate audio to go with it.
one small tip for everyone: the trigger housing has notches that fit into very small grooves on each side. (side opposite of trigger)
Mine was very tight, wrestled with it for a while until i looked closer and noticed those grooves. Until it fits in those grooves you can't press the back of the housing all the way down.
Team Daniel in the building! Yes. This is very helpful to break this down further. Thank you so much!
Maybe Iâll just take this to the gun shop for cleaningđ
By far the best takedown and cleaning video of the Mossberg Iâve seen. Great video
I have a mossberg 500 and this was exactly the same. Iâm glad Iâm not the only one who wears gloves!! I spend too much time doing my nails to have solvent destroy them. â€
Watch a few cleaning videos and this is the one I come back too. Very detailed, great pace, and perfect for those people who need more than a âthis is quick and easyâ tutorial lol. Thank you!
Very impressed with your video! Looking forward to receiving the Shockwave and will be viewing the video again, I'm certain! Thanks so much for taking the time to produce this. Your care re: your presentations is obvious. Well done!
Thank you so much for you kind feedback! Iâm so glad that Iâm able to help! Congratulations on getting your Shockwave! Youâre going to love shooting it! Thank you again and please let me know if you want to see anything else done!
I'm going 20 Gauge.
Thank you SOOO MUCH! I followed this step by step got my shockwave cleaned! Couldnât have done it without this video! You explain it with such clarity and to the point! Thank you again!
Oh, My. You make it look so easy... thank you for giving this senior male the confidence to attempt this at home! Very Professional ! !
Just a quick note for those with the 20ga version - the bolt looks different. It doesnât have the spring as seen in the 12ga version. That threw me off at first. However, installation of the 20ga bolt is exactly the same as the 12ga version - groove goes in the same direction and the end of the firing pin points in the same direction - towards the chamber. Also, on a new 590, the trigger group doesnât always pull away as easily as shown - I had to use some force to pull it away. Reinserting it was also a bit of a chore - make sure the tongue & groove align, then push the barrel-end down and in before pivoting the rest of the trigger guard towards the handle. It will pop back in with a little muscle, but donât force it if you donât have everything aligned! Thanks for a great video!!
Nice job young lady! Thank you for your big help to the new owners of the 390 Shockwave!
Thank you so much for watching! Iâm so glad to help! I hope you enjoy your new Shockwave!

This is the best 590 Shockwave video, thank you!
Thank you for your video. I just got my shockwave and when I asked the shop about cleaning they said go to CZcams. You did an excellent job and took your time explaining each step. I am fine with pistols but my AR and now this makes me a little nervous until I do it once or twice. Thank you again for being so methodical and detailed.
Hi! Thank you for coming here and sharing! Congratulations on your new Shockwave!!! Thank you for your kind words. I need to put an AR video up. Iâm working on an SKO video now. Some of these rifles are beyond tricky!
Finally found a gun cleaning video with someone wearing gloves!

VERY GOOD AND COMPLETE THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Great video! I wish I saw your video first before I saw others and broke down my 590. I learned more from yours.
Thank you so much! This really means a lot to me! Iâm so glad I could help enhance your experience with yours!
Thank you very much. Your video was very helpful.
MUCH more enjoyable watching pretty girl hands instead of gnarly old man hands! This is one of the best disassembly/reassembly videos I have seen for any firearm. I will save this for use when cleaning my Shockwave.
Very helpful! Thank you.
Iâm so glad it helped! Thank you for watching!
I have to say that was an excellent tutor-
ial along with great visuals in which some miss is an important aspect. You were spot on when it comes to the hammer which is mostly not demonstrat-
ed often.I know it is for consistency but smooth bore barrels can be cleaned from breach or muzzle end first. Its usually advised breach first because of the minut particles shavings, dirt etc will enter the chamber then that will be an extra step of cleaning. Think of the black powder or muzzle loaders. Now definite- ly enter breach side first when dealing with rifles which I'm sure your aware of. Not so much because of the land and grooves but because of the crown can easily be damage. On the flip side when it comes to a lever action its compolitely opposite you want to enter through the muzzle end. I know sounds counter- intuitive.Thank you for a well produced video.
Hi! Thank you so much. Yes. You are absolutely correct, I make note of it to keep reminding that direction since a lot of firearms are not smooth bore that Iâve seen. Thank you so much for you words of support!
Your video help out a lot putting my Mossberg shockwave together thanksđ
Excellent video! I have been a bit apprehensive to disassemble my shotgun. You explained everything extremely well. It took me a bit but I completed my cleaning. Thanks again, Great video.
Great video.
i had such an issue getting the trigger group back in >< but rewatchrd a few times and then realized i hadnt fully clicked in the cartridge interrupter and stop >< THEN it was easy as pie. Wanted to fully disassemble and clean it before taking it to the Range to put my very first shells through it. Thank you so much for the video.
AWESOME đ WELL DONE đđŒ THANKS!
Thank you. Excellent work.
THANK YOU for watching and leaving me some feedback!
I love this video. Thanks so much! The assembly/disassembly part is very helpful. The audio level is excellent. The lighting is flawless! Great job! New subscriber.
Lol.. I feel bad. I'm gun loving â€ïž American and I know you are.
I love my little mossberg 590 I have it in my truck.
I had been procrastinating cleaning it. Girls will do anything. I took it apart and it was full of laundry detergent.
About 3 months ago there had been a time family went out in dad's truck and a 4yr old can do anything. A laundry detergent got spilt all over and until now. I cleaned it and there was laundry detergent inside my buck shot! Even all inside my mossberg.
Anyhow... I appreciate your videos and I'm a new subscriber to your channel.
God bless America and God bless you!
Good gun toting skills girl!
Hey!! Pardon my delayed response! I know the feeling of procrastination of cleaning our firearms! And I canât imagine how much more I wouldnât want to if I had to deal with detergent! Did you find that everything was okay after you cleaned it or did the detergent make it harder to clean? That is good info to know!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing and subscribing! It means so much to me and Iâm so glad to have you here! Let me know if you want to see something cleaned and Iâll try to make it happen!
Great video....life saver!
I just got mines last Friday I got the mossberg 590 12 gage shot gun pump actin with ghost sight I didnât know it can damage the trigger housing thank you for the heads up. Keep up the good work
Hey! Thank you for stopping by and congratulations on your new 590! Yes. It can per Mossberg. They discuss it in the manual. I have seen people do it the other way and not have problems, but I like to teach here per the manufacturerâs of the firearms I clean. Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
Excellent video. Thanks.
Thank you for watching and sharing that feedback!
Excellent
Very nice job!
Thank you so much for watching and letting me know! I really appreciate it!
