    Dunas de Maspalomas (0:10 - 0:33)
Sand dunes located on the southern coast of the island. It is a beautiful and unique natural formation and at the same time an extraordinary attraction for tourists. The area covers more than 404 hectares and has been protected as a nature reserve since 1987. It was created by the continuous flow of southeasterly winds and the blowing of sand from what is now an underwater shelf. However, it was exposed during the last ice age and the winds carried the sand to the mainland for centuries, where it came to rest against the stone bedrock. Massive, up to 10-meter-high overburdens are mainly formed by the remains of corals and shells, which were gradually washed ashore by the surf and volcanic sand.
    Fataga (0:34 - 0:45)
    Pico de la Nieves (0:46 - 1:02)
Pico de las Nieves is considered the highest peak of the island of Gran Canaria. It reaches a height of 1949 meters above sea level. It is of volcanic origin. Most of the highest plateau is occupied by a military base including a large radar in the shape of a sphere. Half of the island and Tenerife's Pico del Teide can be seen from the platform below the base. You could get to the top by car, because there is a road leading there, which is used by the army.
    Pico la Catedral (1:03 - 1:18)
    Roque Nublo (1:19 - 1:35)
In ancient times, Roque Nublo was worshiped by the natives, today it is visited by crowds of tourists. Not only because of the 67-meter-high obelisk at its top, but also because of the beautiful views of the surrounding mountain massifs of central Gran Canaria. Roque Nublo reaches a height of 1,813 meters above sea level, making it the third highest peak in Gran Canaria. Thanks to its unusual shape, it is one of the symbols of the island. Roque Nublo was formed by a volcanic eruption about 4.5 million years ago.
    Palmitos Park (1:36 - 2:13)
Palmitos Park is a botanical and zoological garden with an area of about 20 hectares. It is located near the Pilancones Natural Park, approximately 10 km north of Maspalomas. The park has the largest collection of orchids on the island of Gran Canaria, more than 160 species of cactus and succulents, and 42 different species of palms. Parrots are the most represented in the park, but other species of birds including swans and ducks can also be found here. A total of 230 species in the number of more than 1500 exotic birds. The origin is also an amphitheater that has an amazing view and twice a day there is a show with flying birds of prey. They fly in open space, without any tethering. Marine animals are also represented here. In addition to a large aquarium with many species of fish and underwater animals, there is also a dolphinarium with 6 dolphins who put on another great show.
Cliffs and Puerto de Mogán (2:14 - 2:47)
    Fuente de los Azujelos (2:48 - 2:56)
An unusual rock formation. The name literally means Tile Fountain, due to the color reminiscent of Portuguese tiles. These colors are caused by the process of hydrothermal alteration and oxidation. Simply put, when magma from the depths of the Earth's crust reaches the surface, hydrothermal solutions of various compounds can appear in it. These can have different colors, and copper cations have blue.
    Mirador del Balcón (2:57 - 3:04)
    Dunas de Maspalomas (3:05 - 3:12)
    Playa del Inglés (3:13 - 3:24)
Playa del Inglés is a tourist resort with more than 3 km of golden sand beach in the south of the island. It is among the largest tourist resorts in Spain. The center began to be built in 1962 on the site of former tomato plantations, which were not viable due to a lack of water for crop irrigation. Since the early 1970s, Playa del Inglés has been a world center for gay tourism. Up to 16 resorts in the area have exclusive gay only accommodation.
    Playa de Maspalomas (3:25 - 3:38)
Playa de Maspalomas is located in the south of the island in the town of Maspalomas. The beach is 3 kilometers long, covered with fine golden sand, which gradually transitions from one side to the sea, from the other side to sand dunes. Further away from the lighthouse, the number of nudists begins to increase, and part of the beach is declared a gay (nude) beach. The entire beach is surrounded by sand dunes, which are part of a nature reserve and are accessible to everyone.
