- Sorry for acting goofy. It`s too warm outside today. This is a "monkey island theme" cover. I used to play this game when I was younger. My bro and me spent hours together while playing it. And I loved it. And still do. It is part of my childhood and I love to think about this time in my life. :) Have fun!

Or on the other hand one guy from the Finnish show quartets either Kivikasvot or Four Cats, I forget which one was it and who the guy actually is. Well, that wasn't of much help. I love this: I can sit in northern Germany practicing my programming skills - like the nerd that I am - and at the same time listen to a girl from Switzerland beautifully playing the music from one of my favourite computer games, which was made in the US and is set in the Carribbean. Life in this world can be so great!

Beautifully done, the monkey island theme has been in variations my mobile phone ring tune for over 10 years. its brilliant. =)
Thank you for this nice interpretation, Monkey Island was one of the game I liked and touched my heart the most when I was young.
I still watch this because I think the arpegios you do at the key change make it more melodic and then the whistling makes the minor key more haunting over the chords. It really shows the original song had far more going for it than just a simple catchy song. The tempo is not the norm, the key switching and instruments used are what you'd expect from a hired professional for a movie soundtrack... not a PC game during the era consoles were smashing them in sales.

There was something about this game. I too have good memories of playing this on the Amiga in the early nineties. I vaguely remember a swordfight where Guybrush had to outwit his opponent with amusing insults to win the fight?!
