To all people who think they canât do it, you can. People always make it a lot harder than it seems.
yea tbh apart from some cables and the aio the rest was a lot easier than i though
â@@Vermax hey vermax, can you make a tutorial on how to make a gaming PC for about 525 dollars?
I was planning on buying a pc but I realized that building it is cheaper
Hey
i want to do it but done want to buy the components and cock it up lol
You did amazing for your first build! I completely understand all the struggles as I am still getting the last two things for my Pc and it has already been stressing me out! Great job on this build.
I remember a few months ago when I went to build my pc with no idea what to do đ€Ł"I spent hours on hours looking up and watching build tutorials to the point that I was a literal pc building master until it came to the front io cable's I spent sooooo long tryna figure it out... "but eventully got it! other than that it was so much fun I would do it again for sure. "love the vid man keep up the grind!
Insanely great build! One thing I can reccomend to make the blank space look a little bit more âfullâ is RGB strips +1 sub!
First builds arenât easy but an a great experience to learn congrats on a brand new build, also my advice is to really research parts even if their older. Older parts arenât as appealing but do just as good has new parts but ultimately itâs whatever you want you know.
You did really well for your first pc build and made beginner mistakes a lot of people would. Good job man!
ty
@@buildyourcomputer He only has 2 ram slots
@@buildyourcomputer 2 and 4 not 1 and 3
Love the determination man! Sick video. â€ïž
There are 3 sizes of motherboards ergo cases that you can get. Theres atx, mini atx and micro, in that order from largest to smallest. Also depending on the size of each component... your graphics card might be too large, your cpu cooler/fan could run into your ram cards or if its too tall your case, and if your using a liquid cooler the radiator it might not fit in the case either. All depends. Sometimes its best to look at other builds to get an idea of what works good together. Nzxt has a cool beginner build kit I'd recommend for well... beginners. It comes with a picture book and all the pieces you need, plus the picture book reminds me of those Lego books you get when you get a new Lego kit. Plus the finished product always looks totally rad.
wonderful job for your first build! you have great potential. like you have addressed in the video that you had to compromise performance for asthetics (and thats totally okay!).
One piece of advice is that the 5600 draws so little power that a regular cpu air cooler should sufficiently provide cooling. but you can keep the AIO for future upgrades of course!
Hey vermax, i always like these builds cause im saving up for a pc. I didnt expect u to do this but i am so happy a youtuber like you is gonna make these videos! Pls keep uploading about building pc's
this pc is so clean!! good job bro
I just started watching and honestly your content is amazing.
Hey man it might not be perfect out of the gate, but you got a working PC on your first try. If you want to take up some of the dead space at the bottom of the board you could vertically mount the GPU, that would cover a lot of that dead space below the motherboard. I done that once with a MATX board in a montech case and it came out looking really good. If you decide to Lian li makes a killer vertical mount that fits most mid and full size cases, it would definitely fit yours. Cheers and well done young man!
â@Princeof1000Enemiesye brah
hey vermax I really love ur videos keep it up and thank you for everything I used your amazon list to help give me some ideas love you man and thanks for the amazing content and I personally would love to see you test the pc

man ur amazing i hope u the best and you make more computers in the coming future.
Keep up the amazing work! â€ïž You motivate and inspire me every video + short you do :)
Fr Vermax you inspire me and Fxre!
Great build, especially since this was your first. If I were you, I would have saved money on the AIO (I also have a 5600, and I'm using the stock cooler) and upgraded the card to 1660 super or 2060 like you said in your video. Maybe it's just cause I've had bad experience with 1660 and 1650 gpus
Nice bro, for christmas i actually got a pc too, it was my first one ever. And guess what, you have the exact same specs as me, except i got a different motherboard and i used the wraith stealth cooler that came in the cpu box, so far the pc has been amazing. I built it with my uncle, i hope you have a good time with that pc and it gets the performance that you are hoping for.
Awesome job man. At one point in the video you mentioned you spent 3 days setting everything up for the pc. One thing about building your own pc, you are never ever done modding. At least in my case anyway. There is always something you can do with it. Whether it's for looks or performance. It becomes addicting. This is the best way to learn though.
Very impressive! Congratulations on building you first pc. I love the enthusiasm in your build and I can tell you like to favor looks and appeal. Personally I am the same. I remember building my first pc and It was frightening at first but once you get a feel for what your doing then its a smooth ride the rest of the way. However, there is some things I would recommend for your next build. If you are going for a budget build, favor the best bang for the buck and donât go for unnecessary things that will hog money for more important parts. I think that the 5600 is acceptable and Im running a 5600x and they are work horses but it may have been smart to spend the extra $15-30 dollars for the âxâ model that has a little more performance. I think that the motherboard could have been a little better quality but it will be good enough for what you want. The thing that really bugs me is you running a AIO in your system. I think that it looks amazing but Its a little unnecessary and the money used for that could have been put towards a larger ssd or better GPU. All in all I think that for what you are using it for it will be good enough if thats what you want and maybe consider shopping around and poking your nose into different styles that will fit your taste but will give you best performance
no point in getting the x you nly get 0.1 ghz more
A tip for the cpu cooler: flip the cooler around so that the tubes are at the bottom. Having the tubes at the top can cause issues with air bubbles and stuff which leads to overheating. Overall pretty good build
then the enermax logo would be sideways and it would look terrible
@@ProfessorTurtleGuy working good > looking good

Ayyy, Vermax with another great vid!
I would say Iâm a pretty experienced PC builder or like experienced in tech and in my opinion you basically covered like the basics as best as you could do especially as a beginner. Overall I congratulate you with learning all this.
Ima get my first pc ever but im tryna learn itâs difficult ashđ
@@Thatdemon01 yeah, to be honest people will say itâs really easy if you just look up guides but like if you look up guides, you are most likely getting those parts but if you want your own kind of parts, youâre gonna be doing a lot of research.
Nice job. It works and you learned a lot.
Great video man!
VERMAX! This video is actually super helpful, I have been recently looking at building a computer, instead of playing on my school laptop, instead of the 5600, I decided to go for the Ryzen 5 3600, as its super good for the price, and I also got a used graphics card, its a 1650 super! - so watching this video honestly made me feel even more motivated, to put in the work, get money and complete my build.
nice
you picked horrible parts
@@MustangGuy112 For a budget PC, no. You are completely wrong.
This was my starter build too đ
đđ Git Money, Yes!
For a newbie an AIO is a lot more complicated than an air cooler, with air cooler you only need to mount it to the motherboard and connect one fan, the fan clips on the heatsink so there is no screws for that, and there is usually only one way to orient it for AMD system.
With AIO in addition to that you need to connect at least two fans plus the pump, and mount them to the radiator with screws, and you need to think of where to mount them in the case and orientation
i think a good air cooler is good as it is cheaper and less likely to break
9K MORE SO CLOSE ALSO that pc looks amazing cant wait for future vids
great job mate when i did my first i struggled with everything
This so so great to see you build a pc Iâm planning to do that as well and seeing you do it can really help me thank you vermax â€đđ

i love your vid keep up the good work man and also i need help changing to keybored and mouse :(
I believe that grey substance on your hand is the build in thermal paste from your aio. You should definitely check it. That thermal paste is one of the important component between your CPU and the cooler. Without it the CPU can easily overheat and potentialy damaged it.
yea it is from the thermal paste haha, and i applied some extra because i messed up the first time

i recently built my first pc aswell and it took me around 3 days to finish it (mainly because it was during new years and all that stuff)i also ran into the same problem with the motherboard not having wifi, i didnt realise that i had to get a wifi adapter lol, i just thought you build it and you get wifi on the get-go but apparently notđ i still need to upgrade some parts like the graphics card, the ram and a ssd. it was incredibly fun building it so i hope you had fun building it aswell! Cheers!
yea i can agree, building your own pc is infinetely more fun than just buying a prebuilt
yes thats true that most channels forget to mention that u shud spend a little more money and stick with motherboards that come preinstalled with WIFI and BLUETOOTH and the Antennas. That way you free up a slot on the board for something else.
My guy went for an aio cooler, with a 700 dollar budget... He even got a cooler included with the cpu for free.
Most cpus come with a stock cooler
U are a very under rated youtuber your naturally good at talking to the cam im trying to get a pc myself to make more videos
Itâs your first build and I think thatâs great. A pc is what you want, and if you like we like. Itâs like a personalized version of you, you build it for YOU.
kinda of perfect balance for a first time build, great value build that looks great, you definitely got the most bang for your buck, and im sure it will play anything out there just fine . The water cooler is likely over kill for a 5500, and might of gone with a single 16 gb 3200 RAM, (but wouldn't have looked nearly as good), and 1660 super used is the best performance for the money today by far . My first build had 4rth gen support everything except for the 5600G cpu, so it was 100$ extra wasted basically,, cause the 5600G doesn't support 4th gen
yea thats definetely true, i might upgrade the pc in the future tbh
Do I need thermal paste I just am a bit scared or can I wait a little then order it
Congrats on first build! A couple of issues I see is with the motherboard. First the motherboard is pcie 3, which is not a big deal with that video card or the Wi-Fi you got but will be an issue with newer cards. Also the motherboard does not have a 12v RGB header so you canât use the RGB on the AIO, and yes the AIO is over kill for that but you got it for aesthetics so its fine. The other issue with your build is the RAM 3000hz is not the best for Ryzen 3600hz is better and the price difference is quite small, reason is that ram speed controls infinity fabric speed. Also donât think you enable the profile on the RAM so its not even going 3000hz if you did not. You may have just skipped that on the video though.

Awesome build man, I probably would've, made a crap ton of mistakes but you did really good. A quick tip, I would order a white motherboard but those are expensive and you were on a budget so nvm. Keep up the great work
the motherboard is fine i think the case is ruining the aesthetics of the build tho
@@ezplays3321 the motherboard is the problem. You can see the bottom cables which don't look good. Also, the motherboard doesn't have a 3-pin ARGB header.

For a first PC build this is pretty good, most first builds don't even turn on due to RAM issues and misplaced cables but you did a good job on that. One tip just don't use WiFi I know you expected there to be WiFi with that motherboard but most don't come with unless you buy a more expensive version and ethernet is better in speed and stability anyways.
his ethernet isnt working either
Your videos are the best Vermax you are inspiring me to keep improving my setup keep up the good work.
A tip I found when I did content creation,32 gigs of ran definitely helped out when editing, and when I livestreamed
I suggest getting a small figure that matches with the colour scheme to fill in the space left by the motherboard
Clean build
I have the same case. If you put the aio on top with the fans on the inside and then get 2 fans for the front that are RGB, it will make a big difference in appearance. The small motherboard problem does suck though. Even if you got a better one, you'd essentially have to completely rebuild the PC... Judging by your recent videos though, it looked like you went from this to something much more expensive though already.
Dont buy a white graphics card spray paint it yourself it it cost about 10 pounds and just wait a fay fornit to dry
Well done man my first ever pc build was also like this noice tho
Dang, alright vermax I see you learning how to build PC nice man
The fans on the aio will have a 4 pin fan cable (goes into the motherboard as a chassis or cpu fan) and a 3 pin ARGB header. This will go into the motherboard header labeled ARGB. Should bea long the bottom of the board. Happy to answer any other questions you have.
Okay, and this is why a lot of people should remain silent thinking that they're "helping" others and just causing more confusion with misinformation.
This is a cheap MSI A520M-A Pro budget motherboard that only have a 1x 24-pin ATX main power connector & 1x 4-pin ATX 12V power connector with NO ARGB header or +5V Add_Header to connect his Enermax ARGB 3-pin connector. He must either get a fan controller or a new motherboard with the headers that he needs. Do your research before making a comment!
I like how you listed the bios and "GHz" as pc components đ
You did very good but something i recommend for the future is getting a fully modular psu, it makes cable management a lot easier
yea i had no idea when ordering it, that there was a difference, at least i had a lot of space at the bottom of the case to put the extra cables
Ver ver u are my fav u may have seen me before but remember that u are the best number 1 CZcamsr â€
Heads up. The NZXT H1 is on sale for half off right now at Best Buy. Iâve personally built a rig with this case and itâs the easiest case to build in. No cable management, it comes with a power supply built in, and you can access it from every side.
I wouldnât build a super high powered rig in it but up to like a 3070/3080/6600xt/6700xt paired with a mid range cpu. Itâs perfect.
Its like lego blocks. Super easy. Get all of your components out of its bag except screws. Label and put all screws aside. Make sure all of your components are on its anti static bag it came with.
Start with the power supply. Notice all plugs are color coordinated that is adjacent to your motherboard. Go ahead and put a antistatic band and take psu and plug it up into the motherboard
Then take your ram and gpu and plug it into your motherboard. Read all instructions and directions pamphlets to all of your components mostly the installing section, especially for your cpu. The cpu has an arrow that should be adjacent towards the arrow on the socket of the motherboard. Most fans come with pre installed thermal paste but if not dash just a little on the cpu or the cpu cooling heatsink which is the metal part under the fan of the cpu. Then plug in that cpu.
The ram is the easiest. If will have a long dim which are the pins and a smaller section of pins, make sure those align the same way the mother board is in. Long then short. Afterwards take your gpu and put it into the pci slot. Some force maybe needed because it is new but do not put to much force. Then plug all adjacent colors into each of the motherboard sockets including the gpu which needs a 6 pin and sometimes an 8 pin molex pci. Which the psu most likely will come with. Sometimes its a 6 pin with 2 extra pins thats detached or sometimes it could be a whole 8 pin connector that you could attach straight into the psu. This is what you call a molex psu and these are the psu's you should be looking out for and getting. Especially if its rated bronze and up. Use newegg wattage calculator to determine which psu wattage you will need before purchasing. Plug in all molex adapters thats only needed. Once everything is plugged in (WITHOUT) the atx case plug it into your monitor or tv or whatever output you are using. Once the bios load this is a gooooood sign. What this is called is posting. Which means that most major components in your computer does not need an rma and is functioning properly. Now uninstall everything except for the cpu and the cpu heat sink. Take the motherboard and install it into chassis with the appropriate screw and use the appropriate screw driver to insure you do not strip the screws, most mobo uses proprietary screws which means if one is lost or damaged you will have to reach out directly to the manufacture for replacements. After you have screwed the motherboard, install the psu unit and all molex cords thats needed. Do not forget to install any satas you will need. If you need 2 ssd or maybe 1 ssd and a hdd, make sure you have 2 sata controllers installed into the psu. Once the psu screwed in and all molex adaptors are secured take your ram and install them.
After that, take your gpu and install it into the chassis. Make sure ....
love your vids
