  • HOW TO TEST WATER PUMP ON BMW 323i 325i 328i 330i 335i E90 E91 E92 E93
    In this video we will show you how to test electric water pump on BMW e91, e90, e92, e93. The same design of electric water pump has been used in multiple BMW models 3 series including 323i 325i 328i 330i 325xi 328xi 335xi 335i BMW. We demonstrated how to manually activate the water pump and hear if it is running or not on 2006 BMW 325i but it should be helpful on multiple models.

    Maybe this will help someone else. 2007 328i overheated- No codes thrown. Just solved my problem based on these ARG videos. After it overheated, I found a broken upper hose plastic connector to the engine, which I replaced with the aluminum one, so I decided to change thermostat. Mine had a plastic thermostat, so it must have been replaced prior to me. After watching the videos of the ARG, I went ahead and also bought a pump since I was going to be down there removing things. The 5th bolt at the top was a PITA, but removing the fan really helped. Overall job took 2 hours and I don't really know what I'm doing, but following his videos made it simple. Pump would not manually activate by typical procedure so I thought it was bad like my 2008 328i, but the 07 required the door be closed and remain closed during procedure. So used stick through open window to push down accelerator and held for 15 seconds. Go figure. There are no fuses for the pump in the upper hood area of the 07. I also changed the temp sensor just to be safe. All blades on rad fan in good shape and it kicks in as required. I use a simple Torque Pro bluetooth from my diesel truck to just get coolant temps on my bmws. Can't really afford to buy an expensive bmw OBD reader. I've kept both my 328i running based on these guys videos. Awesome.

    2010 bmw 335D pulley set up. The pulley I am worried about is directly above the crank shaft pulley and to the left. Call it the 10 or 11 o’clock position as you look at it from the front of the engine. I think it needs replaced.

    Are there any fuses that could stop the pump from working?

    • @futureofboxing6025
      @futureofboxing6025 Před rokem

      From what I read there’s a fuse near the ecu that’s a 30amp fuse that can cause water pump to no communicate correctly I think they made a vid on it

    You do not have to take the whole car apart to do the water pump or thermostat you take out the fan then take out the water pump and thermostat is very easy
