Björn, we need a tenth album. I’d prefer that to more concert venues. ‘We want ABBA’
Me too, though I would also like a concert venue.
I saw Abba when i was 6 years old in Gothenburg Sweden on a consert together with my mom its such a happy memory they are so amazing ❤️🥰❤️🥰
I think you've spelt concert wrong
Its hard to describe how different and amazing Voyage is. Im going for my third time. Its the past and the future comming together. Hope it will stay in London. I love love looooove ABBA!
Iam amazed to read again and again and again how people are getting to see more than once!Haven't seen it yet but plan to travel some thousand miles for this. All family members and mates.I'm so very very glad and proud!
Now and then become entwined
playing games within my mind.
Hope it will come to Australia, else I'll never see it.
2:09-4.10 that part was really so emotional,i went teary eyed listening him describing those very special moments of all 4 of them meeting again in the studio for the 1st time after almost 4 decades like no such time had passed.
"Like no such time has passed." Very poetic! Congrats.
Happy Birthday Bjorn from Australia 25th April aged 78 looks terrific. Many thanks for the music.
I went to see Abba Voyage 2 weeks ago. Wow. It was a magical show and the Avatars were amazing. Great live band and singers too.
It really is unbelievable, an ABBA fan but!!! Never expected it would be so incredible, a feast for the sense’s.. and you do engage with the Abbatars , don’t judge just go see and make your own opinion…❤
Thank you Bjorn. Thank you ABBA. I saw you in Melbourne in 1977 at the town hall and at the concerts. I saw Voyage twice last year, and returning again to see four more shows. Voyage is amazing. Sending lots of love from Australia.
It is always great to see and listen to ABBA, whether live or otherwise.
Star struck
Please bring the show to Melbourne. ❤ from Australia x
It's fantastic 👏 😀 👌 😊 thank you ABBA.
Congrats ABBA!
Be nice to have a voyage movie or dvd release of the concert
Close to 2 million now!
Happy Birthday 😊 🎂🍰🍷🎉🎁🎈Genius 🎤🎸🎶🎶 Björn ❤
The greatest band ever.
ᗅᗺᗷᗅ Björn Ulvaeus
I remember going to the cinema with my sister to see the Abba tour movie in 1979 and we just wanted to be as fit as them. Listening to their later recordings on my tape machine. But 8 to 10 years later it was actually Erasure who made it cool to like Abba when they recorded a version of Take a Chance on Me and they weren't really mentioned for this 🙏
Wish I could go
Björn should include the smell and obour of a 1970s consert including some of the perfumes the women did wear.
lol!good idea.i recall girls wearing a perfume called 'Charlies angels' or smth.Smelled so dreamy wonderful.
Agree to @graphiquejack and more, do a tenth album, please! We don't need a venue for it, no tours, just film you recording it and release that as videos for every song. Cause the videos WAS your touring ;)
I don’t think this thing could have gone “badly wrong “. It could have been underwhelming, but ABBAs continued popularity means people crave a live experience. I’d like to see Bee Gees avatars ! The estates of deceased artists will seek to capitalize on ABBAs success
Too bad that they aren't together anymore. This Voyage tour was the last thing they'll ever do. I wish they would come back and do a show as their natural selves again.
ITV are definitely going to disable the comments again because people are already questioning Phillip Schofield on social media and they wouldn't want to provide a space for it on their own CZcams channel as well.
Questioning him about what?
The brains behind Abba?
There are better introductions I guess. Without the women and their voices the band would have not have been where they are.
Keep on .Make new songs
Lost everything? He obviously doesn't know how much their worth, they've sold far more albums since they broke up than they ever did together.
Is there any human activity that does NOT have an environmental impact? Very, very few, I think.
Does Phillip want to talk about the YOUNG SHOW RUNNER that works on all his shows for him.
Does this morning still employ that YOUNG BOY
This is Bjorn and they are discussing ABBA, please show some respect. Thanks.
If there’s a ‘young boy’ working on a show, he’ll be of legal age so it doesn’t matter. Be quiet. If he’s not of legal age then it’s ITV and the production team of the show who needs to answer questions. Not the presenter.
Why don't you say exactly what Phillip has done and show your evidence or are you afraid you'll be sued? Defamation can be expensive.
So here is my view ,As a life long fan of ABBA, I have found myself so disappointed in their involvement with the saccharine Mamma Mia franchise ,it does this nothing to their legacy but dilute it ,now we have the allegedly" spectacular" Abbatars .well I saw it 2 days ago ,it was Ok but nothing deserving of the adulation it has got from fawning fans , who gather like the citizens did to admire the Emperor's new clothes ....here's an idea ABBA instead of shelling out millions and charging fans for a pretend show start using your extraordinary accumulated wealth for good causes ,setting up charities, various academy's I different countries for new artists to flourish .
That’s not true is it a lie stop lying to yourself
Oh what rubbish!
I do not like it at all. ABBA is going Disney which is a shame. It is the new reality, AI making music for AI and all who want´s to listen it. Investors are excited now they don´t need the artist and can have people like the ones in these comments being excited going to a stadium watching AI on a big screen. I wanna go as far as saying that ABBA is killing the very foundation that created them. I am happy to have grown up in a world of songwriters, live music, something tangible, one could feel in the room.
Abba's music was recorded even before autotune was invented. Listen carefully to Voyage and you'll find out that they did it the same way as usual. And read the booklet: A real orchestra was involved in the recordings, not just electronic sounds.
@@HolgerJakobs I’m not arguing anything against it. But I’m two minutes you have a new AI version of ABBA and artist like them will be needed no more. People will still listen to the music and apparently go to the fake show arguing that Macdonalds is a good tasty burger.
This Show doesn't kill anything! And for 3 obvious reasons:
1. There never were 2 options of an ABBA Return to the stage EITHER in live Concert OR as Digital themselfes. Would this technical whizzardry not exist, they wouldn't have performed live concerts. You cannot kill something you don't persue anyhow.
2. You seem to completely underestimate the Ego of most musicians who need the applause and demonstrating admiration to a performer from a live audience.
3. This undertaking costed a whopping 175 Million Euros. Only very very few Artists or Bands could ever afford such a production or win over Sponsors for this amount of money, so 99% of all musicians will need to get their a$$es on the road for many years to come 😂
Yes here we are not getting AI instead of live shows. It is AI or nothing. I would rather have the AI than nothing. It is a great show. Loved it.
Am I the only one who thinks it's really sad that we are taking the human out of these shows. I'm a lifelong Abba fan, but I'm boycotting this show & NOBODY has questioned the environmental impact. NOBODY.
Their are many shows that don’t contain real humans - animations films and tv shows, for example. This is just a new way of putting on a show and it’s incredible. It’s really like watching ABBA, and for those who didn’t have the opportunity before can experience ABBA, albeit not the real thing. As for the environmental impact, I have no idea. But it’s a wonderful experience and I think you’d enjoy it.
Move On
A real show would have a much larger ecological footprint in the long run. And regarding their age, it wouldn't be feasible anyway. In their whole career, they have toured for about 6 months in total.
It there any human activity that does NOT have an environmental impact? Hardly any, I think.
@Oliver Grumitt You've proved my piint entirely.
