- Pepper Lunch is my favorite fast food restaurant chain in Japan, and this location in Tokyo at Ueno Station is an up-scale "diner" version of Pepper Lunch. In addition to my favorite beef pepper rice, they also have steak. Everything comes served on a sizzling hot cast iron skillet.

I remember having pepper steak late night in Tokyo after a night of bar hoping and it was amazing. One of these just opened near me in CA and I’m pumped!

I used to eat at Pepper Lunch almost weekly between 2007 and 2010 near where I worked. I was such a regular that the staff always chatted with me. I've been back in Canada since 2016, hoping Pepper Lunch comes to where I live, but so far, it's only in the Vancouver area. I love Pepper Lunch!

wow I think the portion of the rice and meat is bigger than pepper lunch in my country, yeah I know the differences between original restaurant in its country might be different with overseas branch restaurant although in same brand name

There's only 1 Pepper Lunch in US. It's in Milpitas. I've seen it before. Haven't checked it out since it full of people.
i just had that over the weekend. ive been eating at Ikinari Steak lately. which is the same company as pepper lunch.

i get the angus steak. you can choose how many grams and how you want it cooked. it comes with a soup and salad if you want and some onions and corn on the hot plate. not all the chains are like this, but mainly its a stand and eat resto. but theres a location near suehirocho, between ueno and akihabara, close to okachimachi, that has seats.

It's really neat to see that Pepper Lunch has an up-scale version. As I know from watching your videos that Pepper Lunch is also in Taiwan, I am curious if there are also the Pepper Lunch Diners in Taiwan as well? Nevertheless, it looks really good!
+Scottman895 Travel The Pepper Lunches in Taiwan are of the "fast casual" variety.. so somewhere in between. Pepper Lunch is opening their first USA location in Irvine, CA this month.. I'm pretty excited ;)

I had my first Pepper Lunch in San Jose california in 2000, which closed a few years later. It seems they are making a comeback.
