Mine turned out beautiful. But even with tin snips I had a horrible time cutting that planter. It was a pretty bent up mess. Well aged looking. If I make another one I'll have to figure out a different way to separate the planter. Thank you

Oh no! I wonder if it would work better with heavy duty scissors or kitchen shears. Could you hot glue a strip of twine to cover up the hot edge?
I tried again... just with the planter and kitchen shears worked best.
