Shame on Viv the referee. Very far from a foul and she acted with absolute disrespect towards the poor incredulous Roberto when he asked to have the shot reviewed. She is an experienced ref for the English 8-ball world and I suggest she stays there. Poor sportsmanship from Albin for not siding with Roberto. It was obvious it wasn't a foul and was tenfold more obvious when he calmly explained how the balls would have reacted if he fouled.

for her to say those things about him was outrageous he was asking very calm and explaining his point very well oushcan did not help and should have done the right thing and said yes the shot was good, but he just shrugged it off AND if they think a filipino was going "mental"...they dont know nothing!..if he was going mental they would ALL know it!
Albin should have stepped up and shot the ball from where it was. And would have been much more respected for his play!!! He had a shot at it anyhow. Taking BIH was a whimp ass move!!! Ref should be eliminated from this tourny!!! And go eyes checked!!!

Shameful!! Video replayed showed a foul and yet the referee was not overruled! Albin should have known better. Hope he loses in the winner bracket and throws a tantrum like he has been doing on a regular basis.
Lmfao, it's not a foul of course and it's shameful to have referees who would think that's a foul. You would have to lack a basic understanding of pool physics and any experienced player will tell you that the cueball hit the rail first then the 3 then the 7. I don't blame Albin for taking the foul because you want to win and if ur given ball in hand you take it, but how do you review the shot then say it's a foul? Where is Nigel Rees? Edit: Upon watching the video further, I now see that the ref said she thought the cueball hit the cushion then the 7 first sending it down table after Albin thought about it and realized there was no way it was a foul. I don't know what else there is to say but she clearly hasn't played very much rotation pool at a high level, I'll tell you that for sure.

I don't 100% agree on "don't blame Albin Ouschan" He knew it, he saw it and he also understands the physics. of course he wants to win. Especially on a race to 5 such a point is very important, and personally i would not want to win any point like this. Real sportsmanship would have been that he just played where the ball was.... and not accept the ball in hand.

where was she standing to see that contact she was not in the screen view where was she actually standing?
