    Love the idea of limiting the stencil choice, theme and variations! Thanks for your time creating this great tutorial.

    Using only the pebble shapes overlaid in different sizes and arrangements resulted in such fascinating prints. Great use of color, too. Thanks for taking us back to the basics. Limited choices often allow creativity to soar, as here. Kudos!

    Very good tutorial. I have often felt overwhelmed in gelli printing. This really made sense to me. I can't wait to try your suggestions.

    Loved this tutorial Lucy. You look so organised. When I get out my gelli plate I end up knee deep in papers and up to my eyes in paint Lol! I really enjoyed your video showing how you bring the prints together to make a finished piece. Would love to see more that process.

      Carol Rigby thanks! I usually end in a big mess of stuff too which is why I thought would be nice to do this on just using a few things and keeping it simple! My online class has full tutorials on taking these a step further and making my illustrative pieces from them!

    What a lovely video, Lucy. I enjoyed listening to the music, while watching you use your colors and spread your paint across the gel plate with intention. Your placement of your stencils and masks, made such beautiful artistic prints. Did you cut your stencils/masks? They are very elegant and reminds me of river rock. You just gained another subbie! Thanks, Lucy.🌸

    Delighted to see you back - love your style, and your tutorials are very comprehensive. I would love to see a tutorial onhow you make your stencils - what drawing programme do you use on your ipad? I am thinking of buying a cricut (or similar) machine - which cricut do you use?

    Lucy I really love 💕 those stone stencils so effective, and the way you built up those colours superb. Still need something softer for the music please. Thank you so much xxx Mags

      Mags Nash hahah honestly, CZcams flags anything that is remotely like a tune that is copyrighted it’s so hard to get totally copyright free tunes

    I really enjoy your videos Lucy. I admire you use of colour and shape in such a simple and elegant way. So many gelli prints get over complex and muddled. Would it be possible for you to do a video on using the Cricut to cut stencis? Carol, Wiltshire

    Lucy I love this tutorial. I want to try this out right now !
    I was wondering how you manage to line up each circle print over the last print.

    • @LucyBrydonArt
      @LucyBrydonArt  Před 5 lety +1

      Brenda Prescott sorry for the late reply I didn’t see your comment, I just used the corner of the paper and knew where my plate was if that makes sense but sometimes I put my gel plate on a piece of plexiglass so I use it like a stamp and that way I can line them up too

    Just found your videos, and am loving your work. You are very good at keeping things clear to understand for newbies !! Do I need to buy a Gelli plate as they are expensive or is there anything else I could use ? 😊

      purple plump you can make your own! There are a ton of CZcams videos out there on how to make a home made plate

    Hi Lucy, my question wasn’t worded very well. I was really wondering about the plastic material you use for the stencil! 😆 I have a cutting machine too and I use laminating pouches for my stencils as I found them to be cheap and durable. I love cutting stencils. Your pebble one is great.

    I love your video and your use of minimal supplies. Did you draw the cut file to make the stencil or is that a ready-made design I can download for my cricut.

      A Little Creative hi! I drew it on my iPad then sent it to my cricut. I’m thinking maybe stencil designs might be a good thing to sell at some point!
