After a lot more time playing around with the Distress Watercolor Pencils, I have found out that they are NOT JUST FOR COLORING! I mean, yes, you can certainly color all the things with them, but that's not all you can do with them and today I'm going to share a quick video showing how you can use them to create a background.

I told everyone I was buying the pencils because my granddaughters would LOVE playing with them while they used the distress palette. Well, they do, but it might be my (not so) big secret that I actually bought them because I LOVE playing with them while I use my other distress mediums! Did I need them? No. Do they bring me joy? Take your wet brush to the bottom of the pencil to pick up color, it will preserve the tips for coloring

That is a stamping platform called a MISTI. shrsl.com/49yv3 It comes in various colors including pink, black and rose gold. It is a wonderful tool that truly helped make me a more confident stamper. Thanks for watching!
Get a chalky finish like less expensive watercolor paints..like semi opaque when coloring images with the pencils?
These pencils don't have the fillers that many watercolor pencils have so no, you do not get a chalky finish with them. The color is very vibrant because they are mostly pigment.
