I loved seeing Heidi cracking up but she usually has no trouble keeping a straight face no matter how crazy the dialogue is
As usual previously-underused Chloe killed it. This performance on top of her hilarious Nicole Kidman skit shows the benefits of so many veterans leaving last season. It opened up more opportunities for Chloe and others to get more face time.
Chloe has no talent and isn't also really good with accents. Not a fan.

She was NOT a good person.

In all seriousness-who TF was that movie for? It was three hours of random moments of rock bottom for the woman. If you truly despise Marilyn Monroe and want to see her in agony, this was the movie for you. Otherwise, pretty brutal.

I just watched that film I was in tears at the end. I could never see that film again in the same light😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This started off good with the “Daddy” line. Made me think they were really going to dig into poking fun at the movie’s specific elements. Damn, though, what a missed opportunity not to do so, they could have had fun heightening and playing up how much the actual movie itself was so relentlessly negative and sadistic. Or even the fact her Spanish accent was so distracting. This fan-mail premise felt like they WANTED to do something like that, maybe spotlighting how the film barely showed us Norma Jean’s wit and humor or any of her times of any real, lasting joy. Mostly just ones where she was a ditzy, traumatized sex toy, almost literally. The fan mail thing wasn’t even in the movie. If anything, she WAS a glorified whore according to the movie and its limited view. Odd to specify it as a Blonde parody and not just a generic Marilyn Monroe one that we could all obviously just assume was done because of Blonde.

I guess James Austin Johnson is supposed to be Ex-Athlete (Joe DiMaggio). She slips and calls him Dougie instead of Daddy the first time at 0:18. Though not the focus, he’s fully committed and very good as always at taking on other personas via looks, voice and movement.
