Absolutely a beautiful restoration. It definitely looks better than new. In 1969 I took a 1965 GTO for a test drive it had tri-power (3 carbs) and was screaming fast. Low miles $1500.00. I did not buy because I had just wrecked my car. I I bought a 1966 Chevelle instead

This is beautiful. Those 3 points were probably because you used the black PMD center caps instead of the sassy red ones. 😂😂☠️☠️

Love the restoration….perfect in every sense!!!! Those cars definitely needed disc brakes. Don’t know how many dog houses had to replace because couldn’t get slowed down. Had a rare ram air car….yes the looves on the hood opened via electric and vacuum. Some say the car was never built. Teal green metallic, black vinyl top…oyster interior. 3:90 limited slip, his and hers duel gate shifter with the 670 performance heads. The engine was freshened by a local machine shop and best time was 7:98 in an 1/8 mile with the turbo 400 mid ‘70s

That would be a hard decision for me pertaining to having the new paint job, which is awesome! But, that patina is beautiful as well. My first thought is, can it be clear coated.

Patina is one thing, major rust holes in the structure is another. Although we see it now and then, we're not a big fan of cleared patina. Sometimes you can use linseed oil to richen and protect the patina, it's much more natural looking.

@V8SpeedShop totally agree with the rust. Linseed oil ? I did not know that, thank you, I learned something new. I have loved rust/ patine and a hint of original color since I was a kid. i loved it when rat rods and bikes became more common. But, your paint job was beautiful!!!

Absolutely stunning, the paint looks like glass, I love the 67 tailights, I have seen these total frame off`s and I realize the cost of sheet metal, suspension and the rest. I mean you can be at 50k with the metal and suspension, are we looking at a 100k car, or more, very curious, because it came in a wreck. I know labor is a fortune on this metal fabrication, it had sentimental value, but i`m curious does the resto cost outweight the cars worth, it sure got a lot of points, damn near perfection. I subbed right after watching.
