Sadly, Antoine's food and service have gone downhill over this last year. Commander's Palace is the best, but it is not located in the French Quarter. I had to stop watching with SO much misinformation!

Ahhhh, New Orleans... City of a thousand restaurants and only one menu.

Exactly. You need a narrator that doesn’t mispronounce everything the video about! Bad. Very bad and embarrassing!

They were not able to serve Oysters Rockefeller when we visited in December 2023. It was a bit of a mystery and far from iconic after my 30 years of visiting!

So much wrong here! If you're going to present a video of "your" 10 best foodie gems in the French Quarter, at least try to do some research. Misleading title if 3 of the restaurants aren't even in the Quarter. Commander's Palace, Cochon, and Herbsaint---not that close! I haven't been to most of the fancy places, but I have been to Commander's Palace, and I can tell you that the stock footage at the beginning of it's segment isn't even of the restaurant! And showing a clip of live, frolicking piglets in the Cochon segment? OMG. So why does every video have to include Cafe du Monde? Not really a full service restaurant anyway. At the corner of DECK-a-ter Street. 🙂 Very well known street---not hard to learn how to say it. Please---when talking about the beignets, don't show us a picture of some kind of cream puff. I had to laugh---someone coming from your upscale "favorites", and wandering into Coop's Place would be in for a bit of a culture shock. 🙂 Looking for more people to like and subscribe to your channel? Try for some accuracy---it would make your videos more credible.

As I've worked in New Orleans for the last 23 years, I often check out food recommendation videos like this. I ignored the first 10 seconds of stock photos. At 11 seconds the AI voice says “the historic French Quarter” and the graphic changes to an old European city that looks nothing whatsoever like the French Quarter. Now that's lazy video making. No need to watch anymore.

You need to study pronunciation if you want to discuss gourmet food.

That's totally innesesary as long as the information is accurate. New orleans having a french culture has a very difficult to pronounce words to non french speakers.
      Youre just trolling.
To the creator, thanks to the video, I will add them to my trip 😊
