So I tried getting my eyebrows laminated for the first time and the results were crazy but...I ended up having a bad allergic reaction lol. MY MERCH- milliet.shop/
Coming from someone who’s a qualified beautician: 1. She didn’t do a patch test 2. She threaded them before tinting which means the tint could go into an open pore 3. She shouldn’t put make up on 24 hours after
Yep all my thoughts I love how the girls talking like she knows so much, also that tint would look so much sharper if she waxed after to remove any surface tint from the skin.
probably because they threaded your eyebrows before putting on the chemicals, leaving the hair follicles open! usually they will wax/thread them as the last step...
No threading only cuts the hair in half it doesn’t actually pull the hair from the root I am a qualified professional of 8 years but if you don’t believe me then google it.
Kasey Beasley I think you need to refresh your training, it definitely does pull hair from the root. You’re not the only qualified threader in the world. Also can’t find anything on google that says otherwise.
I honestly didn’t think about that but maybe that’s because I’ve never gotten anything done to my brows. I never would have thought to expect a shop to do that but dang now I know
Georgia Thomsett I know! But others are like “she’s changed so much” and that they don’t like how she’s changed etc...I’ve watched her for years too 😂❤️
You aren’t supposed to touch them after being done at first, your skin has gone through a trauma so using makeup and old brushes to apply it is putting dirt and bacteria into open pores so that’ll be why there was a bad reaction
Maybe the allergic reaction is from you putting on the makeup? Because you’re suppose to wait awhile before you put on makeup and it seems you didn’t have a reaction until you did the makeup.
if you’re not allergic to hair dye, chances are you’re not allergic to the tint. although patch tests are always sensible to do. brow lamination is literally just a perm for your eyebrows and perm solution contains other chemicals which you may also be allergic to. seems rather unprofessional of this place to have provided you with a service without taking correct safety precautions.
But it's important to point out anyone can have an allergic reaction to dye or perming solution at any time. Just because you've dyed your hair for 5 years doesn't mean you can't have an allergic reaction for next time.
Okay so I never had an allergic reaction to hair dye or anything like that when I was younger. I had eyelash extensions and I had a reaction. Stupidly kept getting them done week after week. Went to another eyelash lady and she worked out it was the carbon in the black eyelash glue. She used a sensitive clear glue and I haven’t had a reaction since. It might be the graphite in the tint?? 🤷🏼♀️
I’m literally the same, I’m not allergic to hair dye but I’m allergic to brow tint and my face swells up and burns. Every brow tint I’ve tried I get the same reaction
I've had lamination brows and I loved the result for the first like... week. But the perm solution made my brow hair fall out and curl up, went all coarse and just damaged. Like your hair is after a perm. (I'm a hairdresser). it's basically the same stuff for a perm but for brows. That's what you need to patch test for, which by the looks of it, you didn't have? (Big no no. there's a reason it's the law). And for the tint too of course. My guess is your allergic to the perm solution or the tint.. or both! Mine were itchy for quite a while after I had them done and I won't have them done again. I stick to henna brows which Iove. Hope this helps someone
I’m really sensitive to tint (I had the exact same reaction as you) and I can use the refectocil sensitive tint and it’s actually a life saver because it gives the exact same effect just all natural ingredients instead! X
I have the same allergy and I have had worse reactions. It is from the eyebrow tint, it is a chemical in the tint that is called p-Phenylenediamine. It can be found in all dark hair dyes, tints, and even eyelash tints. You should definitely see a doctor because it gets so much worse. Take care xxxxx
I had a reaction to something I put on my face and my face was all bumpy but u couldn't see the bumps u could just feel them and I put olive oil on my face till it looked greasy then wiped it off and the bumps faded away and my skin went rlly soft and they r gone now x hope that might help x
I work in a beauty training academy and it's legal requirements to patch test 48 hours before you get any treatment done. Why were you not patch tested? Also, we're told not to cover over the eyebrows during the process of lamination with clingfilm as it over processes the brows too much.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets a reaction to tints. I had a patch test when I got mine done and I was fine but when it came to actually having it all done it was the next day my eyes were huge. I went back to my lady and she was in shock I made her take me hospital as she knew what stuff she used like ingredients it turnt out it wasn't the tint it was the prep stuff as she just threaded my brows it was open to anything and that prep stuff caused drama for me. I was given like a cream but it was horrible so ended up just using e45 that helped so much
I’m also allergic to eyebrows tint and hair dye, they should of done a patch test! If you want your eyebrows tinted again, ask for a vegan tint! Whatever is in usual tint that causes allergic reactions isn’t in the vegan one, hope the swelling has gone down, I feel your pain x
Am literally the same ffs ahahah am not allergic to anything food wise but a can’t have my brows tinted or waxed cos they go red and swollen. The worse ngl.
OMG it's soooo terrible. You know what? There are a shit load of things in this world that are far worse. I actually cannot cope with how moronic people are these days.....
You should have told them that you had a bad experience before. I do that when I want to do something but I am unsure would I have an allergic reaction. Let them know so they could have tested you before the session. Either is the dye or the lotions.
Lisa Galliano I’m a beautician and I ask this question in my consolation form my insurance wouldn’t cover me if I didn’t and I have to do a patch tests at least 24 hours prior to treatment on all clients also charge no where near £80 don’t know anyone that does either the beautician didn’t abide by the correct procedures or Millie lied if Millie didn’t receive a patch test she could quite possibly make a claim on the beauticians insurance which she is meant to have even with her failing to mention her previous experience depending on the beauticians insurers requirements
in brow die im allergic to the ingrediant ppd my whole face swelled up bad had to go to a&e, please do not do it again as it gets progressively worse xxx
Are you sure its the eyebrow tint? Your brows were fine for the first couple days, right? But then the day after getting yoru lashes done, suddenly they react? I'm asking because I got eyelash extensions and after my 2nd fill, i suddenly had an allergic reaction to the glue. The glue could be causing your entire eyelid up to the brows to swell and itch.
I have so many things I can say but I’ll keep it short Waxing, plucking, threading eyebrows before a tint is a BIG no no. Not to mention she then put keratin on your skin once she had done the hair removal and shaping. Your pores would of been open and the keratin along with the tint would be what’s causing irritation. I’m so sorry this happened to you. That brow artist honestly should of known better. She also should of conducted a patch test with all products to be used 48 hours before your treatment time. Sincerely, a highly qualified beauty therapist.
Coming from someone who’s a qualified beautician:
1. She didn’t do a patch test
2. She threaded them before tinting which means the tint could go into an open pore

Beeebe eee right ! she can literally sue her !
Yep all my thoughts
I love how the girls talking like she knows so much, also that tint would look so much sharper if she waxed after to remove any surface tint from the skin.
Omg I’m a beautician too and immediately thought the exact same when I saw this video
Beeebe eee I’m a qualified therapist and I 100% such a poor treatment.
Jessica Hendry yesss gal! X
Nobody:
Millie in the beginning of every video: ‘I really hope this doesn’t ruin my face’
Kayla Patterson lmao 😂
HAHAHAHA😂😂😂
Millie T 😂
Why on earth didn’t she/he make sure you had a patch test at least 48 hours before?! 😱 x
innit
Elouise waller that’s what I was thinking
Ikr!
legal requirement where i'm from and you need it done each time even if its the same treatment
Facts
They should’ve done a patch test. Very unprofessional
at this point millies channel should be turned into a 'trying weird surgeries' channels and im so here for it
Me: doesn’t flinch at horror films
Also me: flinched when she dropped the ice cube
Ohhhh it’s an icecube
Omggg same😂😭
Hahahahah same
That was meee I went straight to the comments to see if anyone else did so I wasn’t alone 😂
probably because they threaded your eyebrows before putting on the chemicals, leaving the hair follicles open! usually they will wax/thread them as the last step...
Thread doesn’t open the hair follicles that’s only with wax
Kasey Beasley threading pulls the hairs out of your skin of course it’s gonna leave the follicle open
Kasey Beasley of course it opens them, you’re pulling the hair out leaving it empty.
Am I the only one who was wondering why Millie didnt have to have a patch test?x
Tysm for everyone who responded x
It's illegal to get it done with no patch test. My sisters friends does it for a living and got sued for not doing a patch test
Abigail May that’s what I thought happened.
Same (I’m a beautician) I would NEVER do someone’s brows without a patch test
No, everyone is thinking the same. She almost admitted it was going to go wrong beforehand. Dumb.
I honestly didn’t think about that but maybe that’s because I’ve never gotten anything done to my brows. I never would have thought to expect a shop to do that but dang now I know
When everyone says they miss the old millie.... I love the new millie. Definitely the sort of girl id want to be friends with.
She hasn’t changed, she’s just grown up
@@chloemcqueeney-7946 i didnt say she had lol. I know shes grown up ive watched her videos for years lol
Yeah I love “this” Millie but just her content and personality now
Georgia Thomsett I know! But others are like “she’s changed so much” and that they don’t like how she’s changed etc...I’ve watched her for years too 😂❤️
But she is constantly talking, talking, and talking. Blah Blah Blah BLah!. Less is more Millie.
How does she still work there 😂 anyone would know that you’ve got to have a patch test before having any treatment done like that 🤦🏻♀️
You aren’t supposed to touch them after being done at first, your skin has gone through a trauma so using makeup and old brushes to apply it is putting dirt and bacteria into open pores so that’ll be why there was a bad reaction
Did you patch test the tint, perm solution and setting lotion? All of those have to be patch tested.
my sisters eyebrows look so good
touchdalight I love y’all 😂
Hi!!
Nonce
why does your accent keep turning american 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg it does 😂😂

‘i really hope this doesnt ruin my face! is it already ruined ?’😂😂 literally me on a daily basis
if you’re not allergic to hair dye, chances are you’re not allergic to the tint. although patch tests are always sensible to do. brow lamination is literally just a perm for your eyebrows and perm solution contains other chemicals which you may also be allergic to. seems rather unprofessional of this place to have provided you with a service without taking correct safety precautions.
themadhattermeg Definitely agree, most likely the lamination chemical rather than the tints..
It's the shops fault but also hers because she had an allergic reaction at 13 for her to think it would just dissappear was niave
But it's important to point out anyone can have an allergic reaction to dye or perming solution at any time. Just because you've dyed your hair for 5 years doesn't mean you can't have an allergic reaction for next time.
£80 girllll my salon charges £20 and we won’t carry out the treatment without a patch test 😳😳😳😳
oh my god stuff like this scares me. They looked well good at the end though
“I got a tan but kinda also burnt at the same time”
I feel you😪
who genuinely thinks Millie is amazing after her weight loss journey, so proud ❤️❤️❤️
You’re eyebrows laminated look like my eyebrows naturally😂😂😂

Jasmine Spicer there’s no actual graphite in it it’s just the name of the colour..but yeah they really should have done a patch test before
Why she talking in American accent in some parts, I’ve noticed this with Jordan lipscombe too
I love these videos. I get so excited when the notifications come through xxx

Aww Millie u probs don’t care but you’re releasing your merch on my bday🥰
"You waisted your monies"🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈👀
I love when Louises reaction when ur eyebrows/eyes swell up and he just laughed 😂💞

There’s a sensitive tint you can get called refectocil see if any salons you go to have it! X
It's most likely a chemical called paraphenylenediamine in the brow tint. I am allergic to it as well.

awh chicken, that's more than an allergic reaction, that's a chemical burn. tech isn't gonna tell you that though.
