The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Leogang have been deemed the most anticipated MTB race in 2020. A wide roster of elite Downhill athletes including the likes of Aaron Gwin, Greg Minnaar, Brook MacDonald, Loïc Bruni, Troy Brosnan, Finn Iles, Vali Höll, Tahnee Seagrave and Myriam Nicole - just to name a few - have gathered in the Austrian Alps to determine who will wear the prestige rainbow jersey for the next 365 days.

Kept saying “Oh Sh*t! Oh Sh*t!!! when he hit the roots section and my wife screamed at me as my 2 year old girl was in the room *face palm*. Gosh these riders are amazing. Seeing how the viewers stood at the side provides a glimpse of how steep some of the sections were and how fast they were being attacked. I would have smashed into the trees long ago. RESPECT!!

Akil Das he had a bad crash a couple of years ago and needed urgent surgery to release a blood clot on his brain. I didn’t think he’s going to do them, but I could be wrong. Gee Atherton did them last year and was great, superb commentary.
