- I created this animation a few weeks ago, And I had many requests concerning the workflow I used for the tire burnout.
So today, I am going to show you, how I did that smoke simulation in Blender :) It's a beginner tutorial so, as usual, it will be easy. :)
Some technique/settings I used come from this great guy , check it out : / @smooth_shading

Most welcome
looks great, just getting in to car modelling myself
Thanks bro! And have fun !
Great video brother. Will get to it sometime
Thanks brother!
Brilliant tutorial I was going to go for same scene you explained it very well
wow so cool cant wait to try it out in the real world for more realism
Yeahhhhh let's go brother!
Wow c’est insane le rendu bravo!
Hey merci pour le com !
Jean, my brother! Nice job. I like how you did yours and the result looks fantastic. I think the lower density for this type of scene was a smart choice. When you commented on my burnout tutorial earlier this year, I was thrilled. It's cool to see the things that you did different and flattering to see the things that are similar. I can't say for sure, but I hope my tutorial was an inspiration for this one. What an honor that would be. Keep up the great work, my friend!
Hey !!!! Yeahhh part of this comes from you ! thanks again for your great video ! Let me add you to the description!
@@JeanYanb That's terrific, my friend. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. You make great content and you're a good dude. I wish you all the best!
Awesome tutorial man, everything was super well explained
THANK YOU LOL
I got you
Thanks for the tutorial, would you be able to do a tutorial for the camera movements and lighting if there is enough requests?
Sure, please check my car animation tutorial, I cover those topics as well.
@@JeanYanb yes thank you, I was scrolling through your channel and found those recently, you have some amazing videos keep it going
everything went great but went to bake data and my PC just crashes, specs 3080 ftw3, 64gb ram, i7 cpu ?? im so confused and its a newest version of blender with the most updated version of launch control
It should NOT crashes you have a very good PC. Start with a very small simulation first they see from there.
Hello, I have a question: How can the smoke follow the car’s movement in two directions, x and y? In this explanation, the smoke’s movement only follows the y direction.
hummm not sure to understand, if the emitters are attached to the car, the smoke will follow. Do I answer your question?
Hello, sir! As an architect, I’m interested in creating parking simulations for layouts to ensure that cars park correctly within column layouts. However, manual animation is time-consuming, and the results often appear unrealistic in terms of technical parameters. Could you guide me with a video or recommend any helpful resources to achieve more natural parking simulations? Thank you!
I’m more interested in what the lighting is in this, looks soooo good. Just an HDRI and a pavement material?

Trop bien Jean!
plz can you do with rbc addon i try not working
Ok I will
So what’s your final render setting 32 or 512
2048 samples for me. But 512 could you fine. Just check the quality.
same way it is possible to make rbc addon
Working on it, cheers
Sir in my case the smoke is working correctly when the domain is in default size bt when I change the domain size then it doesn't work...can you please help me
Be sure to update the resolution just to refresh the simulation.
i have a question, the smoke appears in the render before time, even if i set the density to 0, any help?
Can you tell what is the road texture here? I need to create similar big area asphalt, but detailed
I used one from poliigon. Take care
how did you hide the emmitter
plane for final render?
You untick "show emitter"
@@JeanYanb thank you so much!!
can you please tell which hdri you used in this video please..
From this pack : blendermarket.com/products/sceneskies-hdri-pack/?ref=282
