Would it be possible to create a relaxing ASMR video, or you can show how to put the crystals on a piece of furniture? With a calm and quiet voice, which says where we can place each crystal, so that the piece of furniture is well decorated and with good energies, you are not obliged of course. I would love if you did something like a series going in depth about the uses of the different types of crystals. I want to get into crystals but I just don't know where to start! Oh, I love to make videos about crystals but I really want to keep to the asmr and not get too much into the teaching thing. I like to make you sleepy and relaxed and not have to pay attention too much. There will always be some info of course, but it will be from personal experience. đ

I'm probably the only one, but I never understood the "whispering" aspect when it comes to Crystals so I always have to mute. However, this collection is absolutely breathtaking. I can't express how jealous I am of most of it. Beautiful pieces and it looks so amazing all together like this. I own probably 1/20th the amount of all this lol
Hi! The whispering is specific to this video genre, called ASMR videos. It's designed to be relaxing, decrease stress and for some of us, it creates a specific physical tingling sensation starting in the head and scalp. The after effect is a deep peace and a good sleep. It really hasn't got anything to do with crystals, but I make ASMR videos about the things I love, especially crystals but also cooking, unboxing gifts, organizing essential oils, gardening, camping and riding horses even. That's the reason for the whispering or soft spoken voice overs or layering. All to unwind, unplug and enjoy the sights and sensations of a kind voice. But you found me anyway and I'm glad you enjoyed my collection. The reason they were all together was that I'd just had a strong urge to clean them ALL and leave them together. Two days later a huge fire threatened my area and I had to evacuate all my animals. I stayed to keep an eye on the firemen's progress, ready to go but knowing that this energy grid was pumping out a beautiful shield. My place was fine except for smoke. There were many homes lost in those few days. đą I've been working with and gathering crystals for so many years now, I can't believe how many I have til they are all together like this! đ
Yes, it's wonderful to see them all together in one place. Takes my breath a bit. As for the whispering, I didn't mean to be insulting. I tend to blurt out whats in my mind and realize how it looks, after. I never really intend to be rude. I do understand the reasoning behind it totally. I myself am very much into the sound of rain. That may sound silly but, I have many apps on my tablet for one, lol. And I use many videos on CZcams every night. To me, one sound is totally different then the next :PSorry to hear about the recent fires but glad it didn't effect your home. :S

Hi! Well I like the feeling of sweeping it over the body to create a nice, loving energy after a treatment. I use essential oils, tuning forks and crystals and then finish with the rose quartz wand.

Wow! For how many years have you been collecting these beautiful crystals?
I've figured that it's been about 15 years. They come and go, but I forget how many I have until I do something like this, lol!
What are the differences between the gemstone variations ...tumbled, clustered, sphere, points etc... Are they more powerful based on the forms?
Well, for me it's more about the way the crystal was formed in the earth and where the energy is strongest. There is a lot of variety in, let's say intensity, even within one kind of crystal. The shape or form of the crystal has to do with how the energy is used or directed, like with points or wands. Pyramids add that sacred geometry energy, spheres contain the energy in concentration, etc. Depends on your preference and what you want to do with it. I'm in love with raw (rough) stones, that's my favorite, but mostly people are attracted to the smoothness and shine of polished or tumbled. đ
I have a couple of geodes the previous owner of my home left on the back porch when I bought my house years ago. I've been using them for doorstops. How do you clean up a geode so it looks nice? One of them was already split, and there's some snowball looking little sparkly bits that are pretty but there's so much dirt in the crevices it looks dingy. I'm not sure how to clean my geodes? The other one hasn't been split open yet. I need a tool for doing that before I can see what's inside.
Hi! I love geodes and most of mine are calcite or clear quartz so I use warm running water and a soft toothbrush and then let them dry in the sun. But it depends what yours are made of. And if you can, take the unopened geode to a lapidary show or shop. The folks that collect geodes for a living have the perfect tools and will crack it open nicely for you. I've wrecked a few small ones trying stuff on my own. Hope you find a nice treasure inside!

Hi! How do you store all of your crystals?
Well.....giggling here now! They are usually all over my house. On shelves, tables, in the kitchen, under my pillow, you name it. I rarely put them away anywhere, though I have a glass china cabinet where I keep some pieces, just because I don't have any china, lol. But then I have to switch them out because I feel like they want to come out. It's crazy, I know. I do need to let some go, I think.

Hey, i have an amethyst peice that fits snuggly in my palm, it is the mossy outside of the geode one one side with the small and deep purple brystals on the inside, i noticed 2 red things inside the crystal and i have no idea what it is, do you have any idea? (I would love any kind of description) :)
Well, without seeing it I'd guess it could be hematite as it's often found on amethyst under certain conditions. Or it could be garnet, I'd have to see it.

Thank you and welcome! I would suggest as a beginner, to work with Tiger Eye and Carnelian. One will help with balance of knowledge and intuition, help with focus and eases nervousness, too. And the other is great for concentration and focus to keep you on track, boosting the analytical knowledge. It is you that will overcome this anxiety, but crystal vibrations are great to have with you during tests to support you.

Hello and thanks for watching! I don't think I can be helpful, I really only buy crystals in person at gem shows or at shops. That's my personal preference, to see and touch them before buying. Good luck, I hope you'll find a good source.

Well, I couldn't tell you, lol. I've been working with crystals for over 30 years and some of the more expensive pieces I've gotten were gifts. Most of mine are not large and some of them I buy just to sell or gift. I'd say the most expensive crystal I've bought for myself was about $50. Lots of them just come and go, but I get to enjoy them for a while.
would you think about maybe selling one of your ocean jasper pieces?
Oh they are cool pieces, right? But I'm not ready to split them up at this time, seems that they are meant to be together. I actually tried to sell two of them a year ago and I guess it was not supposed to happen, because I still have them. Crystals come and go in their own time, lol.

Do you have a crystal shop?
I don't, but that would be a fun job! I do small sales once in a while and I have a booth at the local farmers markets sometimes.
Just out of curiosity, How much money is a collection of crystals like this? I'm amazed by your collection and I imagine it's taken years to grow. But if you had to take a wild guess... How much have you invested in your loves? đ€
Gosh, I have no idea, lol! It's been little by little, lots have come and gone, some I found while rockhounding, many were gifts, some inherited and the rest I've bought at gem shows but in the last 5-6 years I've become friends with a few vendors, so I get great deals especially if I buy quantities. Then of course I've sold lots, too. I'd say I've been doing this for about 15 years. Most of my pieces are small and I've rarely paid more than $40 for some of the larger ones. I also do trades. Have to be clever when you have a somewhat limited income, lol!
Do crystals ever "work against" each other? Are there some that should not be stored with or near others?
That hasn't been my experience, though I know that some people believe that. I go on intuition when I place mine and sometimes it feels like some belong together more than others, but not that they shouldn't be together if you get my meaning. Mostly I find that some are more powerful when they are together.

Priceless, lol! They are like my family, but some I'm just taking care of for a little while. I have no idea of the value, since some I've had for so long and many were gifts. But I can honestly say that the most expensive crystal that I have ever bought was not more that $75 and most were much less, because I have friends that buy and sell them.

How would you know that I are acquiring real gems for stones id like to start collecting
I always suggest going to a gem and mineral show. Most big cities have several a year and lots of vendors have booths full of variety. And you can ask lots of questions and hold the crystals, so it's much easier to see what you are drawn to. Second best would be a little shop that sells crystals, though they are more expensive. Do a google search for 'gem shows' and see what might be near you. Good luck!

How do you know real from fake at a show?
i don't think crystals actually *do* anything, i just think they look cool. hematite is my favorite ^^

Herkimer Diamonds only come from 1 place, New York. đ€
Well yes and no. Herkimer diamonds are from New York for sure and were first discovered there but there are similar double terminated quartz crystals with that classic Herkimer 18 total faces found in other places, so they are often called the same. I know it's not 'correct' but that's what they mean by it. Controversy abounds in the crystal business, lol. xo đ I just know they are beautiful!
How do you remember all of their names? Must've taken you forever to memorize them.
I never even tried, lol! I have collected them for so long, that I easily knew a few at a time and it kept growing. I think the names stay with me because they each have a story connected to them. I really don't know!

How can you tell whether a crystal is powerful or not? I have some but I feel nothing around them. They may as well be any other inanimate object. :(
Oh, I'm sorry you think it's bogus, Ellen. I wish you knew my friend that I've watched with crystals. She can identify where one is from by holding them. I'm not talking about obvious ones that are only found in one or two places, but I've truly tested her with old time gem collectors. She connects with something that is unexplainable, but real. And I have had some crazy experiences with some that I can't deny. But I'm not out to prove anything and yes, they are pretty. Without intention, they are just objects and there is no connection.
Hey Baconfan! Well, in the beginning I felt the same, but after spending more time learning about different ones, I became more sensitive to them. I think it's different for everyone, but I've seen people who know nothing about crystals take two of my boji stones in their hands or one or two nice shungite pieces and have obvious reactions that shocked them. Tingles, little electric feelings in their hands, tears flow, giggles start, it's fun to watch! But it's kinda like ASMR, some don't feel it until they find the right trigger I guess. Intention has a lot to do with it and working with the right ones. It's great to go to a big gem show where there are tables full of crystals to compare, usually you will be drawn to some and then you may feel something. Just love them for their beauty anyway, as Ellen said.
