    What I learned from sitting under the ministry of Bishop Walter L. Hawkins I cannot write is this small space. In closing, I will state that Bishop taught us to follow the example Christ set for His church. When Jesus met the woman at the well, He lovingly took her from where she was to where she needed to be. He did the same with Matthew, Zacchaeus, that Woman with the issue of blood, Blind Bartimaeus, the lepers, the woman caught in the very act of adultery. Everyone was changed. MARVELOUS!

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 13 lety +1

    I disagree with the validity of Carlton's Pearson's position as well as his statement stating, "But Walter and the Love Center re-established the conscienceless of welcoming, affirming, inclusive love for all of humanity." If that were true while Bishop Hawkins was alive then as a member of Love Center, I never heard that from my Pastor, Bishop Walter L. Hawkins say that. In fact, he preached the love of Christ, but not affirmation nor radical inclusive. As he "bashed it against the Word"!

    friend in Christ no problem & God Bless you. Just so you know, Bishop Hawkins was a wonderful man of God who truly preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He loved everybody and believed and labored his entire life to preach the Word of God which teaches faith solely in the work of the Lord Jesus on the cross, repentance from sinful lifestyles, holy living & eternal life & salvation solely in the Lord Jesus. Folks shd know that while Mr Pearson is an old friend Bisp. Hawkins would NEVER agree w/him

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 12 lety

    As we keep the legacy of Bishop Walter L. Hawkins authentic, it is important that we accurate hold to the facts and not adjust his ministry of love to promote an agenda that was not validated by our Pastor and Bishop. Had Bishop Hawkins confirmed or affirmed radical inclusive, Bishop Flunder would have remained @ Love Center. Because he bashed the concept against the Word of God, he could not and did not affirm and taught the grace of God. The love of Christ brings a Change.

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 12 lety

    As I read chapter 8 there is so much instruction and direction for the believers that we have no excuse for being ignorant and rejecting the Word of God. Clearly there is laid a foundation for the Will and Work of God to be done in our lives. As Bishop Hawkins taught us, that God has placed His DNA in us, by His Spirit; in order to bring about the transformation He alone can do. Transformation, that is essential for us to please God. MARVELOUS!

  • @shieldsff
    @shieldsff Před 13 lety

    Mr. Pearson is speaking hear principally as an old friend of the Hawkins family. His main teaching is called the doctrine of 'inclusion'.It asserts that all the world is saved without need to know Jesus, there is no original sin nor is there certainty of eternal life or consequences for sin.If we are faithful & study the Word of God it is clear that he is incorrect.The best policy going forward is NOT to give him a platform to address the saints & NOT to call him Bishop.We are NO longer family

  • @shieldsff
    @shieldsff Před 13 lety

    A final point, The Apostle Paul talks extensively about both truth & peace. An important position he makes is that both of these conditions are related to the major concept of sanctification. He insists that as we are sanctified and mature in God & His word we experience authentic peace. In Hebrews, he tells BELIEVERS not to have an evil & hard heart. Believers must avoid apostasy & the corruption of natural wisdom. Paul says to be steadfast in the truth and righteousness.

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 12 lety +1

    It sounds to me that many want the Bible to say what we want it to say rather than accept what it does say. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Rom. 6:1-2.Because Paul affirms that we are saved apart from works of the law and that no man can be justified by law, this then begs the question of sinning boldly. Without the law are we now to cast off all restraint? Emphatically "God forbid!"

    Concerning this...I orginally commented on my opposition to Carlton Pearson's remarks at Bishop Walter Hawkins' Homeging. I hold firmly to my points. The discussion that has occured since has been productive in that lines of demarkation have been drawn. The discussions has brought many valid points and has caused there to be positions taken, which is good. I based my position on my understanding of the Word of God. I have done further research into the Pearson position and I disagree with it

    The Christian not only dies to the law but he dies to sin at his conversion. To continue in sin as if grace were a license is a tremendous perversion of God's grace. Paul's letter to Titus tell us that the grace of God teaches us to live soberly, righteously, and godly even in this present world. (Titus 2:11-12)Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey,

    @vfieldsone I agree. I found the presence of Bishop G.D. McKinney, at the risk of sounding redundant, intriguingly instigative or visa versa. I don't think any one is in a position to judge or comment on Carlton Pearson. The question we should ask ourselves is. Are we doing what God called us to do? If we do that we will not have time to worry or comment on Carlton Pearson.

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 12 lety

    As the Apostole Paul hashed these concepts and questions out with the early churches we can see that there was a need for clarity. As Bishop Hawkins "bashed" many of our contemporary issues gainst the Word of God for the sake of clarity as well, he preached and taught the results of his study. Thus the doctrine of change and transformation would be the process and end result of an encounter with Jesus Christ. The Gospel message of a loving Savior available to "whosoever", a Special Gift!

  • @cgcade1
    @cgcade1 Před 12 lety +1

    What still frustrates me of this discussion is that we are bickering with one another about sin. In my flesh dewlleth no good thing. That is why a Savior was needed. My sinful nature needs deliverance. Now don't get me wrong, the satisfaction of my flesh feels good. It may even seem natural and right, but nonetheless it is still wrong and it is sin because it displeases God. While we put energy in accepting people as they are we are required to accept the Word of God as it is written. OUCH!

I just know that from my encounter with him at that confrence and at the hotel he was very rude and prideful. So why did he say that Bishop Hawkins was inclusive??? I was over it when I heard that... I know God is calling the body of Christ to repent and turn back to HIM.(GOD)... I hear that SO strong in

    WOW!... Some of these comments are "CRAZY". For some of you to know so much about God and his purpose. Some of you people must levitate when you walk. Usually I find that people who are 100% equipped and knowledgeable of the bible, and so quick to give their righteous answer to any question about God's word and it's truth, have usually read maybe 20% of the actual book they're so committed to. And that's being very generous.

    His servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? This rhetorical question sounds similar to the one in verse one, but it's a little different. Here Paul shows them the enslaving nature of sin. Christ taught that no man can serve two masters. Therefore if we are yielding our bodies to sinful desires of the flesh then sin (and satan) becomes our master. I hate to beat a dead horse but notice Paul's use of the word "obedience" in the above verse.

Yes includes living holy, and living separated from sin. No sinners will inherit the Kingdom! He has so many bloody hands! He’s leading people straight to hell! You can be stupid and carnal and fall for the unrighteous teaching of inclusive if you want to! You all will have your part in the lake of fire! The wages of sin, is still death! Don’t believe it? yes, thanks you are correct. Also 1st Tim chap 4. We are also told not to adulterate or mix the purity of the Gospel.To do so would so unalterably dilute it, the truth of the Love, purity, redemption, deliverance & inheritance of the Lord Jesus (who died for His elect) would become of NO good or effect as the Word of God makes clear. Jesus saves and delivers and His blood is the only cleansing (i.e.redemption) agent. Thank U lord He is what His revelation tells us He is: ALMIGHTYJAHWEH ELOHIM

    That transformation process is a continual, as Paul indicated to be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Affirming radical inclusive is the opposite of the transformation process as it nullifies the need for change by indicating that I am fine just as I am because what is sin, biblically speaking, now is not sin, but rather the way I was born. However, there is things that are able to be proven, as there are other things that are harder to prove... Now, Scientifically there are many things that have been proven in the last 16 years, while others they still search for those answers... I am offended by this entry. There is nothing wrong with Bishop Pearson. He is a brilliant man who had the courage to educate himself and recognize that any real Man of God must analyze the relationship of history, scriptures, institutional church and spirituality. Bishop Pearson is a casualty of Black institutional church ignorance and hypocrisy. It is always the least educated who feel empowered to critique a man that is not in your category. He is a man of great courage empowered by God.

Did Jesus arise from the dead ? Is Jesus living now and in what sense is he related to the believer ? Who is the Holy Spirit. How can a person who does not believe in Jesus be absolutely sure that they are 'in good standing' and pleasing to God. Just a few questions one shd ask if U consider him a true teacher

    well that is rather interesting, but based on a 'lecture' series which he recently gave at the "All Saints Uniterian' group (it can be located here on CZcams) I am now being led to assume otherwise. Two major points of departure include the fact that unitarianism denies the God of the Bible in His revealed persons & complex unity. 2) Mr Pearson goes on to state that the doctrine of blood sacrifice & atonement is (merely) an 'idea ' made-up/fabricated by men. These facts are quite troubling

    Paul was in no way calling the law itself sinful, in fact he states that by the law comes the knowledge of sin. The law serves a very important function to show the exceeding sinfulness of man's condition (and thus his need for a Redeemer!).

    I think you're right. You may be on to something here (although, NOT quite in the way you think it is). He no longer preaches a gospel of hate and exclusion. Now, he preaches a gospel of love, compassion and INCLUSION (the same gospel Jesus preached). And, if it's the SAME gospel that Jesus preached, then how is it the "gospel of the antichrist"??? Well, you may need to re-think what YOU teach. Maybe it was YOU have been taught that's the gospel of the antichrist (the gospel of hate & exclusion)

    but U should not overlook that it is simply wrong, false & an intentional deception that is based on a man-made effort to find/create a 'new' way to God that is acceptable to men's minds; It sounds appealing but it is a broad path. Remember that we are also told that God's ways are not our ways & His thoughts are way beyond what we in our mere mortal imaginations can grasp. This holds true for God's revealed concept of 'justice' (the cross) which is ALWAYS a GREAT stumbling block for many

    @shieldsff Před 13 lety

    well, actually, I don't think that he's saying "bad pple are not going to hell".If pple went to hell based on their being bad (or because we all sin) then we all deserve hell. The contradiction of Mr. Pearson is that the cross of Christ is ineffectual in his view. He rejects the Bible teaching that we are all sinners by nature & choice; therefore alienated from God. Hell is the separation which sin produces.- God is too pure to abide sin. Pearson rejects Jesus' completed redemptive work

    @SoldoutGodchaser And, to SERVE GOD, means you can NOT get "to do" what your "heart" "mind" "will" and "flesh" desires "to do." To SERVE GOD means to "take up one's cross, DENY oneself and lay aside every weight" that cause us to stumble and disobey THE WILL OF GOD. It's as simple as that. That's the bottomline. That is true of ALL SINNERS and Homosexuals must bring themselves into HUMILITY & SUBMISSION OF GOD'S INSTRUCTION just like ALL SINNERS. Homosexuals can't keep making excuse for SIN

    @AdvocateOfTruth100 Who talked more about SIN and GOING TO HELL than JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF? Jesus constantly WARNED that UNREPENTANT SIN will lead to HELL.

  • @shieldsff
    @shieldsff Před 13 lety

    @AdvocateOfTruth100 - To warn/caution/inform people about the wrath of God is not to 'put' them anywhere. In fact, Jesus commands ALL his followers to share the Gospel and to be the salt of the earth. Christians will be judged in eternity for their faithfulness to the Lord and for their obedience (or lack thereof) to the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    @MsHyewonHye Have u looked in the old testament and what the Bible says specifically about the subject of a man is not to lie down with another man as with a woman. Its in the book, God said it..That settles it..

    The devil had to remove Carlton Pearson because the rest of the high level tele- evangelists were already on his side. I love pastor Pearson. He was the first and only black (not T.D. Jake) to be accepted on religious t.v. He is VERY wrong for preaching his " Self Consciousness Dogma." It is one thing to know that you disagree with others biblically and another to force your "new" belief down everyone's throat. Let's get powerful and pray against the power of darkness in hislife.

    By Christ Jesus becoming our perpetuation, HE MADE A WAY! His blood sacrifice remains God eternal plan of redemption.That is why my favorite song of all time is: I'm not the same. Everything has changed because of Christ! Bishop Hawkins left us a legacy of love based upon the Word of God not a legacy of love based upon the word of man or woman. In love I say, the truth is not hate but a warning because God is love. Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

    @vfieldsone -As Bishop Hawkins sang, "tragedies are commonplace...."- in this case, if you choose to make your own, my sorrow on your great lost. There is no doubt that you are greatly misguided however. On a final note, I can only refer you to the inspired book of Romans (particularly chapters 1, 6, 7 9). Oh, did I forget that Inclusionists like yourself believe that the Apostle Paul was a liar & a lunatic -my bad ! As you mention Bishop Blake, how interesting that he too rebukes Mr Pearson.

  • @shieldsff
    @shieldsff Před 13 lety

    ah,uh, I can't entirely say that because we don't exactly know what he believes in his heart about the person of Jesus.We do know that he now espouses many false doctrines. Even a heretic can still be saved (Paul says that heresies are a work of the flesh).His rejection of eternal death & punishment is one such false teaching; it's traditional universalism (I don;t know if he's also a unitarian).Universalism appeared early including Origen & Clement; but apostles & traditional church rejected it

    Pt 2

    EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, CAN HE SEE THE FATHER (OR GO TO HEAVEN).
    There is no redemptive work for the soul w/in the confounds of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Post Modernism, Transcendentalism, Satanism, and INCLUSIONISM (among others). Sure, there are a bunch of rituals and teachings one would need to subscribe to under the religious orders mentioned above, but reformation of one's self does NOT EQUAL regeneration of the soul nor do they break the dominion sin...
