    How long is the crossing?

  • @Awynn0

    That is a 'Deluxe' 2 birth cabin not a "Superior" 🙄

      It literally says “ Belfast - Liverpool (Birkenhead) ECONOMY 67.00 GBP 2-berth Superior cabin outside” on the booking. You’re saying I was duped by Stena Line 😮Will look into it.

      Can you give more info on this?

      @@allanwilson I have done this crossing many times. They have (as named when booking anyway...) '4 birth STANDARD inside or outside', '4 birth SUPERIOR outside' or '2 birth DELUXE outside' the only other 2 birth available is the disabled and that has 2 single beds. Why they put on the ticket "2-berth SUPERIOR" is anyone's guess lol but Don't feel duped as the DELUXE is the most expensive nicest room anyway, trust me! 😜

      @@allanwilson In fact I think I just found your blog and in it you even list the cabin types... and what do you know, no 2 birth 'SUPERIOR'
      "Private Seating and Cabins
      There are a number of private seating and cabin options reasonably priced and we recommend them to escape through the 8-hour journey. We have tried a couple and share the experiences below. Otherwise, here is the list of private cabin and lounge seating options on the Stena Liverpool to Belfast ferry by Stena Line.
      Hygge Lounge (Guest over 8 years)
      Stena Plus Lounge (Guest over 8 years)
      4-berth inside cabin
      Disabled 2-Berth Cabin
      4-berth outside cabin
      4-berth Superior cabin outside
      4-berth pet cabin, no window
      2 Berth Outside Deluxe"

      @@Awynn0 you’re very right. Yes, in the video I used information from the email confirmation and for the blog I used the website for full information. I’m guessing they changed the names of cabins but didn’t updated on booking forms. Will add this in. Thanks.

    Do they check passports ?

    • @allanwilson
      @allanwilson  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Not certain but some form of ID should be fine. Your not crossing any international borders so don’t think passport is necessary.

      When was the last time you went as a foot passenger & what did they check except of your boarding ticket ? And are you British or Irish national ?

    • @allanwilson
      @allanwilson  Před 9 měsíci

      @@mariam0398. asked the missus. my wife is Thai and she hasn’t been asked for her passport for boarding. She brings it anyway. Irish and British should be the same anyway as it’s a common travel zone.

    Hi, i am from Albania and I am living in Ireland. I have not been granted to stay here yet. Albania is a non EU country. And I am just wondering is it possible for me to travel from Ireland to Uk for visit using my Albanian passport. Or is it a hit and miss or risky situation.
