In the newest instalment of the Mass Effect series, Lexi enters the depths of outer space, stepping on board The Tempest. Natalie Dormer voices one of the game’s central characters and one of the first characters players will meet when they wake up from their 600-year cryo sleep.
Dr Lexi is calm and compassionate with a feisty edge. Her role is to maintain crew fitness, both physical and mental, and research how the environments and situations they are exposed to throughout the Andromeda galaxy affect human biology and psychology.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available on 23rd March on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin for PC.

Robert Jordan and Frank Herbert died before finishing their series, but both were finished by others (to very different degrees of success).
While that would be cool, it's actually impossible; the Andromeda Initiative left one year before the start of Mass Effect 3, and as we know, Javik doesn't appear until that game. There is no way for her to know about Javik's existence.

I think the reason the faces look so robotic is because of all of the jump cuts, but I might be wrong.
My guess is it's a new engine and they haven't gotten used to it yet, Aaron Flynn seems to be open about the facial animation issues on twitter, I imagine they'll have it polished before launch.

I only played MW1, but this was years ago anyway... Still, COD and Mass Efefct are two totally different series, and I'm pretty sure that Joker had way more voicelines than most characters in Modern Warfare combined. Mass Effect is an RPG series with strong emphasis on characters and dialogue. COD is a shooter series with emphasis on gameplay and action. Two different characters with the same voice won't be as apparant there as they would be in a series that focuses so heavily on dialogue and story. And since ME:A is primarilly marketed to the series' veterans and all-time fans, it would be way too noticable.
yeah and seths voice is too recognizable to do again. I don't mind some callbacks and such to the original game but doing stuff like that is going too far

Even though it's Mass Effect I still treat it as a new game, new graphics and animations, new gameplay features and stuff. People seemed to think a game MUST be bigger than the previous games (generally speaking). This is Biowares style of creating a game. If they are actual fans they wouldn't complain over every single issue.

do you even remember the past games. some of those animations where clunky as hell especially Shepard. They have been improving it lately and there have been new screenshots that show some big improvements on characters faces.

Well, that's some nice news :) and when you think about it, you can see some funny similarities: Dr Lexi T'Perro - Dr Liara T'Soni, first letters are the same :p I remember that you needed to rescue Liara in ME1 and as a "boss" there was a Krogan, Lexi is attracted to Drack who is Krogan, so maybe you will need to "rescue" her from his "influence" too if you catch what I mean :)

Trailers like this should always send up red flags. If a developer is more interested in showing star power, rather then gameplay, or content. That always means that the content is shit. Watch Dogs Legion had Stormzy, Andromeda had Dormer, Cyberpunk had Papa Reeves. If there is a celebrity in the trailer or game, always suspect the worse.
