    Love our 28 Pro! Very impressive machines! Fixing to rent it out in a few weeks, I will be running it lf course. Not a bad gig, they keep their loaded, I just split. Have a smaller conveyor ordered to get the wood away from the splitter quickly.

    I have to agree the 28 Pro is no joke. we have put out a little over 80 cords of wood with it in 6 months! With a total of 78.6 hours machine time. This machine has already paid for itself and then some! Thank you Wolf Ridge Manufacturing you and your team put out a top-notch piece of equipment🇺🇸

    The 28 pro has taken out the work of getting wood for the year. The wife and have split in 1-1/2 hours that would of taken all day with our old splitter. The log lift is the ticket for us. I only wish my Dad could of used this splitter one time.

    Great video. I have a small tree business here in Florida and just bought my first log splitter right after Xmas at Tractor Supply. If my employees do well selling firewood on our days off, I’m willing to purchase a professional log splitter so I’ve already been looking into the commercial grade ones and the ones in ur video look like the ones I would step up to next. I believe ur right about to last 2 units being ones that are better for small tree companies like mine. Could u send me information pertaining to just the last 2 in this video so I could make a sound decision on what’s best for my needs. I paid $1200 for the CountyLine Log Splitter so it should hold me off for this season and see how it goes. Thank u much for the video and the high quality machines ur building.

    Hi Chris, what size hoses do you use on the big splitter for the main ram? Also, what was that log splitter of yours, I thought I saw on your website, with the 28hp Honda GX800 engine on it? Thanks.

    • @WolfeRidgeSplitters
      @WolfeRidgeSplitters  Před 3 lety

      We use 3/4" hoses from pump to valve and valve to cylinder on all machines except the 28 Pro model. We do have a 27 hp Honda option with a 38 GPM pump for our SHO and HDI models as well. Right now we are not building the giant machine due to problems sourcing the custom parts for it.

    Chris If you were to choose for yourself between the 28c magnum or the 35c magnum which would it be? would the 35c last longer working easier to split most rounds? We are working with 20"-30" tree service rounds mostly. Hard to choose speed vs power even though never ran a machine faster then 10sec before, so maybe 8.5sec is plenty. Thanks

    • @WolfeRidgeSplitters
      @WolfeRidgeSplitters  Před 3 lety +1

      I personally like the 28C Mag, but I am cutting and splitting out of a pile of cull logs. Tree service wood can be gnarly stuff, so the 35C may be a better option. Yes, the hydraulic system should last longer due to lower average pressure long term. Thanks so much!!
