  • Work is finally moving again on this generator shed project! This is to protect my Generac generator in the event of a hurricane.

    I have watched all your generator shed part 1-5 and
    Impressed with your ideas.Please do your have any more videos of your shed after part 5 and any more videos how how you completed building the shed.

      Hi Kofi. Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I am little behind in my "video production." It is now moved in it's place and I should be done soon. I bought stainless steel rivets and of course the rivet gun I have had for years and never used, broke halfway in. Those are pretty tough to do by hand, so I just bought another rivet gun. Need to finish riveting in panels and then complete exhaust. I am excited to finally have this done soon!!!

    A carbide metal cutting saw would have made this much easier than a jigsaw. Interested to see the final product. How noisy is it? I'd be afraid a metal shed would be very loud.

      That is for sure! I should have bough a better saw. I now have a plasma cutter which would have been even better. Where this generator is located, noise is not a concern for me. (Or neighbors.) That said, it really isn't that loud and potentially could even be insulated some in the inside if needed. I need to fix the "exhaust" vents and I will post a final video.
