Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck. THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!! I have added a Postscript So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school

I think the euro players are going to start to take over the face of the NBA like Jokic, Luka and Giannis did. For them, the NBA with how it is played now it is easy to transition from the high team play in Europe and come over here where it’s become iso-ball.

I'm the same age as Shaq and have been watching the NBA for over 40 years since I was a kid. I can't even stomach watching the regular season anymore. Even though I love Curry and his game since 2011, I hate seeing everyone else shooting threes because they're not Curry. Hardly no midrange or post game. Everyone gets away with traveling, palming and carrying with no touch defense. The only time they're allowed to play defense is in the post season which is when I start watching. They've killed the game I've loved my entire life. Even Steve Kerr said they're not allowed to play defense anymore. Then there's the worst reffing in any sport. This is by far the weakest era. And I definitely can't stand the sight of LeFlop Lame.

Nothing against Bron. He's definitely one of the goats. But between his flopping and complaining...just not the guy I want to be rooting for.
What you talked about in terms of players constantly hopping teams is part of why I respect people like Dirk Nowitzki so much. He stayed loyal to the Mavs through so many seasons where they either had terrible performance or heartbreaking losses in the playoffs. In my opinion his one championship ring is easily worth multiple of the unloyal superstar players who kept hopping around to different teams.
I also point at ‘the Decision’ as being one of the most disgusting moments in NBA history, if not sports history. Forget the narrative of “he wanted more help.” Instead it’s having an ESPN ‘special’ rampant with narcissism. Hell, ESPN is as much to blame for enabling Lebron even today.
The essence of the game is being the best possible player. That included being able to shoot/skilled players never been able to be stopped only slowed down.
@@damianpresha9833 I agree, but the rules used to allow the defensive player to make things more difficult for the offensive player. It's easy to blame them but AAU should cop some blame they raise these divas then when they get to the NBA they are spoiled brats the coaches like Silver have no balls.
the all-star game was like the platonic ideal of all the ways the modern nba has become unwatchable. the more points teams score a game, the less each individual basket matters. bring back the early 2000s defense era.
The problem is more Adam Silver and others high up in the NBA, than Lebron. Lebron and Rich Paul is just taking advantage of what Adam Silver and his minions are giving them and other star players. They wanted a players league and this is the results of what Adam Silver has been pushing from the start. Adam silver has ruined a league that has become popularized by the 90's era of basketball by selling out the league to pandering to politics, the media, and social media. Kobe, rest in peace, is definitely rolling over in his grave right now watching this fuckery called the NBA.
I remember over a decade ago saying LBJ will ruin the league. Sad part is, there’s a whole new generation of fans that love the new version of the NBA. The ratings for this years ASG was higher than the last few years! The old guard of fans is going to phased out.
It was only higher than the worst year ever last year. The viewership was still statistically a flop. Two years in a row with the worst ratings in NBA history, but I get what you're saying
Good riddens. No one wants to hear the "back in my day" BS 90's fans spew about an era filled with less skilled and talented players than today, a majority of whom would not be on NBA rosters in this era. The 90's - glorified 1 on 1 ball with no zones and hard fouls, in a decade in which 6 teams were added via expansion which diluted an already weak league into a weaker league. MJ is the equivalent of Wilt Chamberlain, an athlete so much more athletic than his peers and contemporaries that counting his stats against weak competition is simply ridiculous. And before anyone brings up Clyde Drexler as an equivalent to MJ, look up how many defensive teams he made (zero) and how in the media/context of that time, Drexler was never considered even a "good" defender. In summary, the only guy in the league who was remotely as athletic as Jordan, wasn't even an elite defender. Enjoy.

The Curry vs Sabrina matchup I think points to the direction that gets players to put on a better show. Something like grudge match 1v1 (ex. Luka vs Booker, Wemby vs Chet) or dunk offs would make the top players more competitive and wanting to take part. They already do unnecessary bs like skills challenge they can replace
Put on the shoulders of International, especially European players the future of the NBA, forget a bid about American players. Guys across the Atlantic Ocean really know how to play defense. Change rules back to hand-checking, decrease scoring a few points, let defense plays determine the outcome of games and you'll get the league back on its feet.
I completely agree, adam silver and the lack of defense has made the NBA so baby soft. If rules such as hand checking were still here then we would see much tougher and more worthwhile games while scoreing 40+ points would actually mean something.
I would add the referees also, but they’re also under Adam Silver. The referees are terrible; the violations they don’t call, the techs they do call, the rules and their current interpreations are all straying away from what fans used to like about basketball. The focus on offense only, and the handcuffing of defense. They’re treating it like entertainment instead of an entertaining sport.

Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY
LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals
In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate
Rick Barry (1975)
Bill Walton (1977)
Hakeem Olajuwon (1994)
Tim Duncan (2005) (2007)
Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010)
Steph Curry (2015) (2022)
LeBron james (2016)
Kawhi Leonard (2019)
Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021)
As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt
Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO
In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were
83-84 bulls 27-55
84-85 bulls. 38-44
92-93 bulls 57-25
93-94 bulls 55-27
98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen
00-01 wizards 19-63
01-02 wizards. 37-45
02-03 wizards 37-45
03-04 wizards 25-57
02-03 cavaliers 17-65
03-04 cavaliers 35-47
09-10 cavaliers 61-21
10-11 cavaliers 19-63
09-10 heat. 47-35
10-11 heat 58-24
14-15 heat 37-45
2013-14 cavaliers 33-49
2014-15 cavaliers 53-29
2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32
2018-19 cavaliers 19-63
2017-18 lakers. 35-47
2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day.
As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank.
Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter
Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck.
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!!
I have added a Postscript
So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did.

Not only does the constant trades hurt the teams, but also fans will be less likely to purchase player merch since their future on the team isnt as solidified as it used to be.
I’m relieved that there are other people thinking that those two ruined the NBA!!
I think the euro players are going to start to take over the face of the NBA like Jokic, Luka and Giannis did. For them, the NBA with how it is played now it is easy to transition from the high team play in Europe and come over here where it’s become iso-ball.
Lebron and Adam Silver are the WORST things to happen to the NBA!!!! Start the GOOD RIDDANCE Tour for Lebron and FIRE Adam Silver!!!!! He changed the rules to BAN Defense. He Spoiled the players and let them run the league. He's like a one of those parents that spoil their kids, they get out of control, and then they show up on Dr. Phil for help!!
I can’t unsee the weird alien hybrid ☠️😂🤣

Come watch Euroleague, we got basketball. 😅
not if todays game was played by real players old school fan here id like to see joker , luka etc etc face real defense . gtf outta here clown no team plays defense in the league ur heros would fold like bloody tampons in the 90s ever heard of the detriot pistons or boston celtics from the 80s or 90s better luck next time jr.

I think more people are also starting to realize that the lies and propaganda from the media aren’t just subject to sports.
I'd like to note that I have never not once been a LeBron fan. His game always seemed to lack that silky smooth finesse I enjoy to watch. Like SGA and Ant Man, love watching these guys. Nothing against Bron. He's definitely one of the goats. But between his flopping and complaining...just not the guy I want to be rooting for.
Maybe cause he's a forward who's game is power mixed with skill 😅. SGA and ANT are both guards sounds more of a preference.
the focus is on narratives and trying to make people the face of the league, instead of the team concept and quality of play.....
NBA = Not Basketball Association
Damn,that's true!!!🤣🤣🤣
What you talked about in terms of players constantly hopping teams is part of why I respect people like Dirk Nowitzki so much.
He stayed loyal to the Mavs through so many seasons where they either had terrible performance or heartbreaking losses in the playoffs.
In my opinion his one championship ring is easily worth multiple of the unloyal superstar players who kept hopping around to different teams.
I agree and don’t forget the NBA robbed the Mavs 2006 vs the heat
Uncut has been going hard on Lebum these past few weeks and I'm here for it 😂
Remember the infamous live feed of him announcing he's taking his talents to South Beach 😂😂😂 got ripped for it
Finally someone is being real about these jokers
The NBA took a nosedive the moment the decision happened. I’m glad you pointed that out.
Honestly I don't think anyone all defensive 1st team anymore because there's a complete lack there of
I would add the press, every day trying to elevate the current product instead of telling its truths and protecting the essence of the game.
Espn gives nba billions. They are trying to protect the game. The problem is the tv contracts.
Why would espn bash their own product?
You also got CZcamsrs as well talking bout we in the “golden age of offense”😂
The essence of the game is being the best possible player. That included being able to shoot/skilled players never been able to be stopped only slowed down.
@@damianpresha9833 I agree, but the rules used to allow the defensive player to make things more difficult for the offensive player. You had to take punishment, make a lot of low-effective shots and earn every point. Today it is too easy to score, points have lost their value because anyone can average 20 points shooting over 50%
@@1stAmendmentorDie1776 They don't need to throw away their product, just tell the truth and protect the legacy of those who did it before with a higher level of difficulty. “The game changed, today we have a more open, less physical game that prioritizes the spectacle. “It is not better or worse than the past, it is simply different and cannot be compared.” Ready!! Everyone draws their own conclusions and favorites. But instead they seek to create controversy by making comparisons of the past vs. the present without taking into account the context. A 25 ppg player with 48% fg today IS NOT BETTER than a player with the same numbers in the 90's, the value of the stats is different.
silver, weird alien hybrid 😂😂
Can’t wait this castrated lebum era is over wemby is showing Kobe like passion MJ type competitiveness that why those eras was so great and I can see wemby has the desire and heart for that
LeBron could be the reason why the league is so soft nowadays. we'll see though...
Lebron I mean the lakers had 470+ free throw discrepancy in the regular season last year.
NBA is trash, as a Laker fan they are trash. Completely gutted a talented young team for AD and 1 chip with an asterisk.
Gimme back Randle, Ingram Kuzma, Zubac, Clarkson etc.
I agree 100! Through ESPN in there too. Great video. Thanks.
You think it’s any coincidence that Adam Silver just extended his own contract for ten more years with no push back from anyone..?
It started under David Stern wanting to make the league more " Global " Silver and LeBron just teamed up and perverted the league into it's current decay...
I think hand checking needs to make a comeback along with taking away 5 sec in the paint rule, three pointers are at a all time high those rules are outdated.
You're right though...no human being looks like Adam Silver...He's Nosferatu for sure!
how he handled draymond and morant tells alot about adam silver lol
Almost like a specific KOBE retired and the NBA started to crash 🤔
Can you imagine running into Adam Silver in the middle of the night in a dark alley?
Literally nosferatu
It's easy to blame them but AAU should cop some blame they raise these divas then when they get to the NBA they are spoiled brats the coaches like Silver have no balls.
Great video! Thanks for posting!
the all-star game was like the platonic ideal of all the ways the modern nba has become unwatchable. the more points teams score a game, the less each individual basket matters. bring back the early 2000s defense era.
You’re the best man…keep em coming. Real truth
Enjoy.
@@Reaper13-hi3yomore people watched the nba then than now. No one wants to see a bunch of feminine looking guys chucking up 3s and flopping. The players today care more about their bank balance and social media presence than winning

NBA has been dead for years
Lebron also only really has one move so he’s super boring to watch, especially in an all star game
Honestly, the postseason is the only time the nba is relevant to me on a consistent basis. The fall has football and the spring and summer have baseball. The winter has hockey which isn’t as popular, but at least you can tell the players care and are putting in effort into the game
"I Just want my dam respect"- King James
I was drawn to basketball by the competitive mindset the players had in the 90s. Now that’s practically gone, I’m curious what the younger generation finds appealing in todays NBA.
No one will mention it but lebron and the nba doing all that BLM stuff is one of the main reasons why the views went down
Not really. The numbers show a steady decline in the ratings and no spite when blm happened. For the nfl that is true though.
What the hell are you talking about blm for that nothing do with it
@@gerarddelon3844it did, when the started all the BLM stuff & slogans on the court that ran millions of NBA fans away but I feel like the decline came before that year , the blm stuff was icing on the cake . NBA never recovered & never will it’s a trash product

Exactly it’s his impact on the game..Jordans set the bar extremely high..just in overall..numbers don’t lie
I think ESPN shares a portion of the blame for the decline of the NBA!
I miss 80 ' s and 90 ' s
Put on the shoulders of International, especially European players the future of the NBA, forget a bid about American players. Guys across the Atlantic Ocean really know how to play defense. Change rules back to hand-checking, decrease scoring a few points, let defense plays determine the outcome of games and you'll get the league back on its feet.
After Duncan and Kobe retired in 2016 I was done … 🤷🏽♂️
Silver the dude off the first Men in Black, Carl Struycken
Time to bring back the ABA.
Back in 2016 and 2017 I would say the NBA is steadily declining. Everyone ignored it and look at where we are now...
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GAME I LOVE?
Omg, thank you for making this video!
Players' effort died right after Kobe.
You hit the nail on the head of this one 🫡💯
These guys are lame. 4-5 traveling steps while carrying and charging, wow.
I completely agree, adam silver and the lack of defense has made the NBA so baby soft. If rules such as hand checking were still here then we would see much tougher and more worthwhile games while scoreing 40+ points would actually mean something.
Its sad that that the league I love to watch is going downhill because of bad Leadership from the top to the bottom
NBA is nothing but a 48 minutes 3 pt shooting contest, and Defense is just a thing in the past. Travelling is legal ,SOFT NBA Era
I’m starting to think silver is destroying the nba so he can rebuild it in a different way. He’s gotta know what he’s doing ain’t working.
Get WOKE, GET BROKE!
I wish the nba and all the players as a whole had to watch your videos!!!
!!!!!!!
Right on the nail. I’d say 7 years is accurate.
I'm so glad people are Waking Up!
Silver is a weak commissioner, but that might be the exact reason why he is still there.
Gotta love the Heat and Spo for keeping that 90s basketball alive
Don't forget the terrible stepbacks nowadays.
Hired Mark Tatum and Fired Adam Silver as a NBA Commissioner!
Great video..🤘
The defense in the ASG was only SLIGHTLY less intense than in actual games
Yup correct, that's why Jokic or Doncic should be on the thumbnail. Silver changed the style of play so foreign players can compete.
I've heard of a player/coach before, but never a player/commissioner like LeBron.
What is even crazier to me is seeing PJ Carlesimo on the sidelines actually amazed at that bullsh!t this is the same guy when he was coaching the Warriors back in the nineties got choked out by Latrell Sprewell because he was yelling at dude for not throwing his passes hard enough in practice 😂
