2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day.
As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank.
Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter
Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck.
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!!
      I have added a Postscript
So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school

I hate sports media. They couldn't get anything near original to stick so they had to sell a never ending GOAT debate. Now half the bozos with a television or cell phone turned into knuckle draggers over this nonsense. ESPN is a disgrace for this.
Basketball IQ isn't measured. It's just a term to describe players that have a deep understanding of the game, or at least an understanding. IQ isn't really measured either. "Systematically", "within the scientific community". It's heavily based on science and mathematics, with little creative problem solving and a decent amount of memory. It's a very good indicator but it is far from perfect. Great for say predicting inventors/innovators. Not for those who end up eventually deciding what happens with those inventions.

It just means the ability to read and react effectively to the defense and offense on the basketball court. By that logic, mamba mentality (determination) probably doesn't exist because it can't be measured. For example, a current player who has a high basketball IQ is Nikola Jokic because he can easily see his teammates and has the ability to put them in effective positions to score with his passing ability.

    - 9:40 Indeed, who doesn't realize basketball is a possession game. Maybe less so now with these rules that cripple the defense. But it still is and will always be. What am I getting here? Is LeKaren advocating that if the previous five possessions were bad, you shouldn't opt for further (2 in this case) possessions? ...and that's supposed to make him smart. And there's nothing smart about flipping a play, unless the flip is to your shooters advantage and you can force a switch or two (see Golden State) What is smart is being able to feign your 1st, 2nd, 4th etc options - And execution is just as important. That takes teamwork, and since it's pretty clear Lebron has not been a team player...
And everything I just said is second year Chess.

Allen Iverson changed the way that we approach dribbling, refs became much more lenient on carry’s and crossovers.
