He's been active as a session player since the 90's. If you're wanted by people like KD Lang, Ricky Martin, Avril Lavigne, Rob Halford, ... you're anything but underrated. The people that matter know very well what he's capable of & by the end of the day that's what pays the bills.
The cream rises to the top, as underrated John 5 is and realize his guitar chops are outstanding, in 10 years when Jeff Beck fans are looking for someone at the top, there is no need to worry, there is guitar greatness, versatility and phenomenal skills in John 5.

I've watched several videos of his playing from banjo style to heavy riffs he's just got a heck of a gift. I literally could listen to his playing for hours.
I was at this show and I didnt quite know who this guy was until he played this, TERRIFIC guitarist, massively underrated. Would love to see him play a full show of his own stuff.

I watched a mini Documentary about him about a year ago and he blew me away at how knowledgeable and just plain bad ass on anything 6 string. I was shocked and then this just reaffirmed my prior thoughts....John 5 is just a fuckin bad ass period!!

He could do this without a bass player.since u can't here him anyway.john went the a music college and told them to give him the top 5 bass players and top 5 drummer's. And he picked these two guys. Best gig ego wise a financial wise they will ever have in there life.
