  • Right before Christ ascends into heaven, and as he does so, we hear echoes in Luke 24 of Moses leading Israel out of Egypt; Aaron lifting up his hands to bless; a sacrifice going up to heaven; and the Lord of Hosts worshiped. Jesus is fulfilling the Torah, Prophets, and Psalms. In this week's video, ‪@chadbird1517‬ helps us to see Christ's ascension through Hebrew eyes.

Thank you for your video! I love how you talked about significant figures in the Bible being highlighted in the Ascension. Lately the Lord has been highlighting the chariots of fire and Elijah to me in reference to the ascension. The divided tongues of fire that came at Pentecost and Elijah going up in the cloud are all woven together. I’m still trying to understand what the Lord is showing me but this helps give me a bigger picture. The Word if God is so amazing!

Another magnificent video brother Chad! Thank you for showing us Jesus in the OT. And yes, we will be celebrating the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ this Sunday to come. I really loved when you reminded us how present the Lord is among us today. Peace be with you as well.

Thanks for the teaching. At 13:00 you have Luke 2:42 on your slide, it should be 2:32. 😀

Thanks, Chad. And even more than Moses 'leading out' the people of God from Egypt, it's God who leads them (see the references to exago in Deuteronomy).

Quick question Chad, if I wanted to say "Army of God" in Hebrew would it be something like "Tzava ha-Elohim". Thanks!

That’ll work. Or Tzava Elohim (צבא אלוהים)
