NBA Refs Shouldn't Be Allowed To Do THIS...

Last night we witnessed the worst call of the season, which absolutely ruined a spectacular game. And there was drama all around the league so buckle up for this one.
In a thriller ending the Rockets and the Knicks went blow for blow hitting monster shots.
And every time that Houston thought they were running away, New York came right back.
But, with time running out, the Knicks needed a stop. So the defense delivered when it matters the most.
And, after securing the ball, everyone knew who was going to take this shot.
This wild ending only set the stage for the most insane call I’ve seen in the clutch.
What foul? Where is the foul? Are you actually kidding me?! This is a 100% no call in the first, second and third quarter. But especially at the end of a tie game on a desperation 1 handed heave like this.
This is unacceptable. To ruin a phenomenal game with this call is ridiculous.
And I know I’m a Knicks fan but hey, you be the judge and let me know in the comments was this a foul.
Actually, don’t even do that. The ones that made the call already came out and said it.
After seeing it during post game review, the offensive player was able to return to a normal playing position on the floor. The contact which occurred after the release of the ball therefore is incidental and marginal to the shot attempt and should not have been called.
Thanks for nothing Ed Malloy.
Anyway moving on to another thriller finish in Cleveland where the Sixers were playing without Joel Embiid of course, but still, they were on fire shooting the ball and played great overall.
So this three by Kelly Oubre looked like the nail in the coffin for the Cavs.
But little did we know that this was only the beginning of the drama.
Garland fires up a stepback 3 and swishes it. Good shot but it’s still a 7 point game.
And then…
Mitchell converts the free throw and the Cavs force a 24 second violation on defense, setting the stage for this:
The crowd is delirious as Cleveland is on the verge of an unbelievable comeback.
They foul right away but Ricky Council calmly knocks down both free throws. Huge moment for the rookie.
Philly fouls as well to prevent the three and Donovan hits em as well.
And then, at the line we got one of the best free throw shooters. Tyrese Maxey who’s 86% at the foul line.
Wooow, Maxey misses 1 and you already know- what follows next is straight up chaos.
Oh my goodness, what an ending. The Cavs were just inches away from completing an epic comeback. Philly survive and win a huge game to stay afloat without their superstar.
Speaking of superstars, another game and another display of Wembanyama’s alien talent and physical abilities.
This almost looks like MJ’s dunk in Space Jam, absolutely insane.
Wemby was out there dominating every aspect of the game while putting on a show for everybody..
Wembanyama:
The guy finished the game with 27 points on 71% shooting, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 10 blocks. Wait, what? Victor had a triple double with blocks.
There is no limit to what Wemby can do, and he’s showing us exactly that every single night.
And while this ended up being a pretty boring game, I gotta give a shout out to the Bucks for securing a big win against the champs.
A wire to wire win as Milwaukee was up by as many as 28 points at one point.
This could end up being huge for the team, as they’ve been in a massive hole for a while now.
Even after changing the coach, the Bucks started out 1-5 with Doc Rivers, and things looked shaky for them. But this is their second win in a row now, and of course coming against a top tier opponent.
This is the case even more for Golden State, who are right now on a 5 game winning streak, this one being against their direct competition for the play in, the Utah Jazz.
Things have started to click for the Warriors but they still have a long way to go this season.
Thankfully for them, they’ve been getting a huge boost from Johnatan Kuminga, who’s been on fire for the past few weeks. He is one of the 5 players who are making a massive turnaround lately, and I’ve analyzed all of them in this video right here and you gotta check it out.
Talk to you in the next one. Peace out. - Sport
That woman was not a referee in that game what is this thumbnail 😭😭
Edit: They changed the thumbnail, honestly props for taking the criticism well.
lowkey yikes on that thumbnail 😅
all refs are the same. doesnt matter which indivisual is making the errors. they are a team of refs for a reason
Yeah i was wondering the same. Even if she would have been in the game, putting her up is kind of problematic. I wonder if sexism in the basketball community is so bad, that doing that generates you more clicks or something... are we really that bad? 🙈
@@jensenmansen7361if u really gotta question it just go to any wnba post. Them dudes are corny asf

@porkchopTopHat so there are more idiots like out there like you? Not good for anyone.
Bruh you really did the female ref in the thumbnail wrong when she wasnt even the one making the call💀
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed
Yeah, he did Luka's girl dirty
But she is hot and acts as a clickbait. That's all that matters on YT
This guy loves clickbait
If HeatCheck did this false thumbnail intentionally, then his action is kind of messed up and shows he cares very little about honesty or wrongly tarnishing other people's reputation.
I would for now give him the benefit of doubt that he made a mistake unintentionally, but if this keeps happening then it would bothers me enough to not keep watching his videos.

I unsubscribed outright. Heatcheck got hunderds of subscribers. He is a seasoned youtubers. Of course he knows what he is doing.
Yeah, i thought that lovely luka ref was the involved ref.
Yep unsubscribed and will actively avoid... it's just such an immediate tell as to how the only thing that matters to them are clicks and not actual substance.
There’s no way this was unintentional what are you talking about lol. It was clearly clickbait
He did this on purpose. Very sexist
Dude was so bias for his Knicks he just put the wrong referee to blame for. 🤦♂️
No he did that for clickbait, cause he knows a lot of NBA fans have a strong distain for female referees.
This guys intentionally uses wrong images as thumbnails a lot for clickbait, just read the comments of people complaining of him always doing it.
biased
This female ref wasn’t even reffing this game, this is obviously rage bait. Do better.
The refs shouldn’t be allowed to do a lot of things BUT Adam Silver and the refs got there year round Honeymoons planned

@@DavidRay39 I was going to edit it, but I figured a scholar would correct me in the comments anyways, thanks kid👍🏾
What the hell is that thumbnail?
The fall of Heat check, what a way to go down with a thumbnail
These mfs should be investigated. his money definitely on HOU
You gotta take this video down. The ref in the thumbnail had nothing to do with the video
I'm not a Cavs fan or a Sixers fan, but 3:10 I think is the best example of all of these ridiculous foul calls. Sixers guy playing good D, barely even touches him. Mitchell kind of puts his forearm into him. Nothing terrible but he does initiate some contact. Yet the 76ers called for the foul. IMO stuff like this should be a no-call. There's minimal contact between both guys, but more contact via Mitchell.
More a foul on mitchell.
The nba is fubar
NBA is fixed. Gambling will destroy basketball.

NBA and gambling... nuff said.
Adam Silver DESTROYED this league. Period!
The hell is replay for if they realize obvious mistakes after seeing he post game review.
u need to win by 15 points to make sure ref cant rig the game...
Basically, and even that’s not safe. Refs are pathetic and it’s time to use technology to get them right.
ref's should be responsible and act accountable on their calls
The refs should be held accountable. There should be fine against them for this kind of calls.
i knew heatcheck was gonna post a vid for his knicks😂. absolutely tuff game
Collision mid air can be considered a foul, how can you review NBA and not lnow that all Major sports are rigged
Bruh this click-bait misogynistic thumbnail is crazy
Click bait rage bait thumbnail. She wasn't a ref in the Knicks game.
The only foul is the smell of the shit product
Bro The Game Was Tied lol 😂
That game wasn't over and isn't over until the time clock reaches zero, bro🤡
Glad to see you fixed the thumbnail @heatcheck
just want to say thank you Heat Check, i have such a busy schedule and so much things going in my life and i can't always watch every game, but i can count on you to provide me with whats going on in the NBA. thank you so much bro. I can keep up with my friends in conversations whenever they are talking about the game, and little do they now I have Heat Check lacing me up with knowledge.
No one tell him about the lebron 2/3 pointer XD
the ref didn't want to go over time😂 bro had his thing😂
Refs should be held accountable
refs are destroying NBA...
The same referee who called foul on Wiggins against Booker, almost cost the game of Warriors.
This is the real cycle of the NBA and Adam Silver. They sign an NBA player, give them high salary, let them play, play NBA online gambling, fix the game to win the money back, get the money theyve spent. NBA rating is going down. They need to make a profit. 20M viewers to 10M viewers in just 5 years. And goes down again by 3% when they started the In season tournament. The league is ruined by Lebron and Adam Silver. Thats the truth.
Wemby is definitely the best candidate to be the next guy posting a quadruple double
That was NOT the worst call of the season, that’s saying something. Every game I’ve seen this year has had horrific calls.
And people still think these leagues aren’t fixed 😂😂
Why would they risk it?
As a Cavs fan, I'm very disappointed that my team lost, but I'm proud of the team for fighting hard in the last minute of the game. It's time to build another long winning streak!
The whistle was blown before they even made contact with each other.... Wonder who the refs had their money on?
911, how can I help you?
- I am walking down the street and there is a 7'5 evil spiderman following me.
Gambling companies, Gambling apps and general Mass-Gambling (of the past few years) has ruined this sport.
That call is wack
I have felt this feeling of rigged games by refs
There are people who claim that NBA is rigged to favor big market team like the lakers and nicks. Would they think this call to be evidence against their theory of game rigging?.... hopefully so, but probably not.
How is this rigging, brunson doesn't fly so close to a guy, he can't even concievably be called for a foul. Like refs suck, but your take is idiotic, meaningless and not original at all.
Brunson's foot hit Greens on the way down, buy some glasses haha
@@user-zb8tq5pr4xlook at the feet bro, he contacted on the way down, you can't block the landing area post jump shot bro, buy some glasses
@@bohanxu6125Lakers because of Lebrons legacy and klutch sports, this is pretty well accepted. They are twice the nearest team in positive free throw disparity and the recent raptors and warriors games are obvious. Knicks, not sure. If you were suspect of refs it looks like someone had big money on a Houston win. Can't be fouled for touching the arm after releasing the shot.
why did you put her in the thumbnail, I thought that "Fouling in love" ref took stupid decidions, but she didnt... it makes it look like the female refs are gulity for stupid calls, it feels luke a click bait....
Brunson's clutch is similar to D'Aaron Fox's last year, phenomenal!
Fr, you can’t bail out team on a half court floater that has no chance of going.
Why should the standard for a foul be different based on how likely the shot is to go in?
as a rockets fan i was so happy but refs really been tripping this year 😂😂
Come on, man. Today them, you're next. Can't justify this shit. Real fans don't like fixed winnings.

So the Knicks can't protest the game? The ref literally admitted that it wasn't a foul
1:42 this ref got money on this game I'm telling you
Some1 getting paid
Lmao. You talked about that foul but Mitchell didn’t even get touched
Lol @ Knicks 😂
Never ever seen a bunch of bad calls in 1 season my whole life, one thing I'm sure in today's NBA Adam Silver and the Refs are unstoppable (Silver also signed a new contract so yeah NBA doomsday everyone)
I can't help but feel like the refereeing has to do with the rise of sports betting this season...
A foul should have been called on Houston. Brunson went to block the shot by essentially passing by the Houston player. The Houston player shoved his non-shooting arm into Jalen Brunson.
Karma for the Bulls Knicks playoffs in '94. Hue Hollins says hello
Dear @HeatCheck its your channel do what you want to. Dont let people who are not very smart bully you. I didnt even notice the video has a thumbnail.
My question is why are the Knicks leaving a team 8 seconds on the clock to score?
Wemby's gonna be the next man to record a quadruple double and 5x5 stat line.
I watched the whole Cavs game. I’m a die hard Cavs fan. I actually physically yelled “no!” when the refs called a foul of the 76ers. It was that bad
That's a foul on Brunson. And Mitchell travelled after that steal.
Refs don't want overtime work 🤣
You have a good thumbnail out there😄😄
The NBA is starting to loose fans because of these refs and how they continue to match fix these games
Anyone saying that isn't a foul is delusional
In today's league I'm not surprised that was called. Defenders are always penalized for playing defense against shooters.
Worst call this year was the no call NYK DET which cost the pistons a win
Vegas needed NY to lose apparently
This is the answer.
Once gambling became endorsed by the biggest leagues, everything became suspect.
Selling out integrity for money.
You can only sell your integrity once.
@@coldsnap5742 been saying it about the NFL for years. Fun Fact: in the 3 Super Bowls the Chiefs have won over the past 4 years, ZERO holding calls have been made on Mahomes’ offensive line. Doesn’t happen unless there’s favoritism
Dude, what. after seeing the replays at the 2 minute mark of the video. That was absolutely a foul. He jumped straight into the guys body and hit him pretty solid down low in his legs. If this call was made in the 1-3rd quarters, everyone would accept it and be like, "yeah he got him down low clearly and didn't let him land"
Game 5 Bulls v Knicks in1994 ECF Pippen was called for a foul with 2.1 seconds left on a shot by Hubert Davis, was that a foul?
When will refs be held accountable like the players
The same ref.who wistle a dumb play against golden State vs Phoenix on the last second, I think there is something fishy here.
this is why i stop watching the NBA...
I didn't even know about these bad calls anymore, cuz I stopped watching the full game. Everything is just as rigged as the WWE. Lakers kept getting 20+ more free throws attempts than the opposing team when they're down and etc ...
I want a night recap everyday
That foul on Brunson was crazy. If anything it should have been an offensive, because the shooter initiated all the contact.
how did the shooter initiate the contact when it was brunson flying into him
remember the durant out of bounds? Refs ruining the league since then
How about Fans should protest about this. And do not watch any NBA Game for a month.
I cannot believe that call was made with ZERO SECONDS LEFT. You never ever EVER make a call like that on a professional level. That ref should be disciplined and sidelined for multiple games
If you watch the Celtics last game, Pritchard was playing great defense and his player drove and NOBODY touched him the whole play and he got an and 1, the ref needs to be fined for that play like 50k it was so obvious he didn’t get touched
Times are 50k is doing to much. Since y’all like comparing yallselfs to nba athletes and when it comes to the 65 game rule. How would y’all feel if you’re jobs starting fining u thousands for small mistakes? This game outta 82 really makes no difference and changes nothing
dude kudos for listening to viewers and changing the thumbnail
Triple double with blocks is insane
to be quite honest, I don't mind the call that much. Could have went either way, would have been smarter by Brunson to contest and avoid contact but that's easier said than done in that situation
Brunson foul call was atrocious.
I was not aware of all these trades that happened? Heild? Dinwiddie? 😰
That ref didn't want to go into over time it was so obvious.
Yeah, the foul on Brunson was definitely tacky. A no call would've made sense, but you cannot argue that it isn't a foul by definition. Brunson launched himself at Holiday and nailed him in the knee and foot, completely changing the direction the shooter ended up facing.
If anything blame Brunson for that desperate of a closeout on a fadeaway floater from the logo
D'OH ED MALLOY!!
I always thought it was just about touching them until they landed. I’m gonna say it was a foul but just because it’s funnier to say it.
Ashley Moyer-Gleich is one of the worst referees in history who almost certainly got her job thanks to the casting couch.
That being said, she wasn't even at the game yo.
Lol you changed the thumbnail thanks😅
I dont know why they dont have something to change the call and just overcome to the right call. It's the must fair thing to do in that moment cause when they are reviewing the call to check the clock THEY REALIZED THAT THERE WAS NOT A FOUL.
So the Knicks gotta lose the game because the AUTHORITY of the game call a bad play but dont have the right to change it to the FAIR CALL...
ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSING!
Funny how the amount of most controversial calls increased with the gambling deals NBA made.
Mitchell has been a handout reliant player his whole career. The diva will fan out during the pressure just like every other year.
As a suns fan we would get called on that every time
How shocking. The refs ruining the game like they always do. They will never do anything about this honestly. But I guess complaining about it constantly should help them tone it down from time to time.
Bro, you should talk a little bit about how well Gui Santos is adapting to the warriors and the NBA
There are people who claim that NBA is rigged to favor big market team like the lakers and nicks. Would they think this call to be evidence against their theory of game rigging?.... hopefully so, but probably not.
Rockets beat the -1.5 spread with this bs call. Ref def had money on the game. Rigged.
Regardless of the refs ,how'd the Knicks loose to the rockets 😂.
