I Accidentally Broke Hydroneer With An Underground Mine

- This took a long time. I did set out to make the game suffer, only to find that it was already suffering before it even started processing all that dirt. Much trial and error lead me to creating this underground mine so I could be as close to the good dirt as possible. From there it was a matter of setting up a ton of Goliath Drills and feeding them with infinite dirt. This is normally pretty hard to do since it takes a lot of power crystals and money. Luckily I have tons of both. Once it was time to fire up everything seemed great, until the processor and conveyor seems to work intermittently. When the belts stopped everything would jump off them and make a mess. Mission accomplished? Hydroneer gameplay with my commentary as always!

One thing that helps with lag DF is in settings there is an option to save dirt chunks when you leave. If you turn it off/on it can help with lag ALOT
Also hammering everything together makes it one entity lessening lag and try to clean up your plot thatll help to

I’ve always wondered if df is that monotone irl or if he just becomes monotone for the video because emotions are hard
the reason the conveyors/grinders are stopping randomly is because their calculations get stuck due to all the lag, thats why it gets slightly better when the game is reloaded (i think)

It won’t be long before DF is forced to clean up his mess at his main operation, and find a way to automate the smelting process perfectly in order to make as much money with as little lag as possible. Because soon enough he’s not even going to be able to load the game without crashing it immediately.

Some youtubers want the highest settings and framerate for good viewing, DF's fanbase want a slideshow of the games!
DF you’re my favourite CZcamsr, I’m also from Canada btw!
If you want to load pressure tanks more easily, smelt the shards and then cut the bars down to around 2 units. Then you can drop them directly into the machine instead of onto the door. If you load up a pallet with a bunch of the smaller shard bars, you can plop a few in each pressure tank, and they'll still last as long as if you used a larger shard/bar.
This also works with the DAVIDs if you orient them so that the shard door is facing up. They still work fine; you just put them to the side of the drill.
The water seems to be divided among the machines using it. So to fix the problems you need more input pipes feeding more water into the system. As well as keeping them on separate lines. Do not connect the lines because that decreased the amount. Only so much water can move in a pipe at a time. So my having them connected the pipes themselves become your limit rather then how much water you can feed.

It's probably the game he has running 24/7 while he makes content for other games because he needs to wait several hours for his chain of 300 drills to pump out 1 bucket of dirt at 0.01 FPS.
Surprised it took DF this long to break hydroneer, but he did bring back the grinder which is nice

In the settings there is an option to clear all the dirt chunks laying all over the map when you exit the game might make your ideas easier to build

DF should buy a new plot, build a ramp down with the car thing, and hollow out the entire plot so he can make the plot look almost perfectly fine except with a conveyor pit with piles of random minerals and a hole on the side of the plot

You could try to give it more water, like a 2nd pump at the start.
Also, the filters avoid that stuff breaks so you dont have to repair the so much iirc.
Fish thins out of the river for 5 hours, then go to sell, trust me, grab a couple million buckets, and trust me again, it’s worth it
