Thepchaiya has a brilliant potting game, but sometimes he plays very loose shots. If he misses, he tends to miss by a lot. If he could clean up those unforced errors, he would certainly be a contender to stay top 16 👍
Exactly. The green he attempted at 13:29 sums up his game quite well IMO. That was way too risky, but he is the type of player who is determined to keep the break going, even if it means taking on shots that he really shouldn't.

Thepchaiya has been on the Tour for long enough, he should have a good feel for "the right shot" now..
I remember following the score on this match really closely. I was desperate for Thepchaiya to win because I thought he could beat John, and there was no way who Zhao, who had hardly won a match all season at that point, could ever beat John. But Zhao was one ball from defeat, and he came back in this match and this was the making of him. This match was a turning point in not just Zhao's career but perhaps the future of snooker.

I don't watch so many players, but i love watching these two they are similar to Ronnie
Uh-Nooh's cue action is smooth like butter, both players have crazy cue ball reactions even when stroked lightly. Zhao is definitely gonna be a world beater.

Very good shot by Thepchaiya at 35:54, but I don't understand what he did in the next shot at 36:12. I have even tried by watching in slow mo.

What a shame Thepchaiya Un Nooh lost this match all because of one unlucky kiss on the reds.
Not to mention a few other unlucky shots that went astray and Zhao's luck on his side. I do not agree with everyone else who compared Zhao to Ronnie and thinks this kid is so great.
I really would like to know where Un Nooh has been and why he hasent play the in more tournaments, as I do believe that it has affected his game and stopped him from reaching his full potential.
But he's only young still has lots of more time turn things around.
