Condyle of the mandible forms the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) which is an essential joint for the function of the mandible. Any disturbance in the condyle leads to further associated problems.
Condylar Hyperplasia is a pathology of the condyle which leads to increase in its size which is unilateral in most cases.

    Hello thanks for this video.
After doing a scintigraphy I found 5% difference between the two mandibules, and it's not very shown on my face and I don't have any pain or something except some cracks at TMJ so my question is can live with this without the surgery or I must do it? And can the condyle grow more with time? I'm 22.
    And thank you very much

Normally such extensive and complex cases are handled by oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
