Leider kam ein Treffen im Jahre 2000 in Los Angeles nicht zustande. Was mich faziniert ist, das Manfred Thoenicke so viel von ihm weiss, das er Ray Conniff fast besser kennt als er selbst. A propósito de este último tema, lo escuché por primera vez en el Album editado en América bajo el título "Juventud En Ritmo", pero a mi parecer esta versión en vivo es infinitamente mejor que la grabada en el acetato, y yo la disfruto con verdadero deleite cada vez que la escucho.
