So I started binge watching you a couple days ago and am now watching your latest episode. I wanted to say that in the past, I have hung untreated doors that became deformed due to moisture or because the wood was still drying? I would encourage you to seal up new door edges as soon as possible in your humid environment. NO CHEATING! (Seal the bottom too!) You have a boat you should truly be proud of!
I think we are lucky we have Mike
Really loved everything you have both done so far, it’s starting to come together wow so pleased for you both 👍❤
Thanks so much! 😊
looking good
Yeah! Keep up the good work. Once you've go the wood burner in it'll motivate you. cheers.
Wow, Nesha, you have certainly improved your construction skills. You look confident and competent! Has this improvement altered your emotions regarding the boat project. I've seen you feeling pretty low at times but this episode makes me happy to see and hear how you approach and accomplish your tasks.
The kitchen is looking very nice, you and Mike are doing great. I feel I might have missed an episode, going now to check that out.
Have some coffee you two.
It probably has something to do with it, thanks for the coffees Dave! We appreciate it :)
Hi guys, it's nice to see you getting on with fitting out your narrow boat, the kitchen is looking fantastic already and is probably one of the best looking kitchens I've seen on a narrowboat so far
Glad you are back. Kitchen coming along nicely
Long time but well worth the update 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Would have been a longer vlog but I lost loads of my footage unfortunately 🥲
Looking so good and great that you’re back showing progress. Keep going 👍

Hello Nesha and Mike, Best wishes for the New Year, A little worried because I don't know where you've gone !!! Hope all is well, lots of love xxx
Well done 👏 fabulous job
Thanks James much appreciated 👍🏼
Really lovely to see you guys back. Have missed the videos kitchen coming on beautifully
This must be the longest renovation in the history of narrowboats (clearly excluding the boat that James is working on).
Glad your back.
As frustrating as the work was for you, you've made it look great! --Dan
I am amazed at just how much you have both done I know there are times it must be a pain n your back side , but wow it looks so promising and I love what you have done so far 👍❤

nice work you're doing great.
Well done both of you !!
Looking sweet... nicely done..
If at first/second/3rd you don't succeed try the way she told you half an hour ago 😂 you're doing great guys, so cool to see the progress. X
😂😂😂😂
Hi, kitchen will be fantastic, any updates, don’t lose the footage this time arhhh! 😊
Hey tha ks for your comment much appreciated ... We hope it will be too haha we have been really busy focusing on our full time jobs for abit as well as doing the boat where we can ha 🙈 we haven't sat down yet. We have lotsa of new footage so stay tuned ...
You two are making amazing progress.
When will we see your next video guys? Keeping us on tenterhooks here .... lol
I always take the fire board outside and cut it with angle grinder and diamond disk never failed but makes a lot of dust you can cut it with saw but blunts it really fast
This is exactly what I was gonna do but as it was raining and also dusty I thought we could do it like plasterboard 🙈 oh well. It's worked ok
Kitchen looking great. Is there a big enough airgap behind the board on the port wall?
Yeah I think we need to redo it and add a bigger gap
I hope you guys are ok, nothing from you for ages. Missing your vlogs. X
Hi Shirley we are good thanks just been really busy as we both have been focusing on our full time jobs for abit as well as doing the boat where we can ha 🙈 haven't sat down yet. We have lotsa of new footage so stay tuned ... Really sweet that you miss us 😊 we hope you are doing okay too.
☺️👍
Whatever happened to the couple that couldn't and the sometime tears and doubts?
As the couple on here seem to be doing very well, even now looking like old hands.
Enjoyed the video, I love your channels and the journey you both are on. One question though, would the (part 1) of this video be all the footage that was lost or will we get to see that later?
Part 1 is the video before this called “discovering problems on our narrowboat” :) enjoy!
What company makes the washer you were using ,it looks very useful.
Hi there the company is called gardiner and the unit is called a backpack as its meant to be one but it's super heavy so i just use it on the floor. They are pricey but you can get cheaper versions ... I got given this one and got it working and suits me fine for my property maintenance. The pole is a gardiner clx 22 which is for my window cleaning but if you wanted one for the boat id advise going for the smallest pole they do ... Way cheaper as you dont need the length/height👍🏼
What’s happening? Haven’t seen anything from you in a while.
What was you cleaning the roof with. I want to get one 😃
Hi David it's actually my pure water window cleaning kit and pole 😂 I use it as part of my property maintenance. But thinking about getting a cheaper one just for the boat as it works so well.
Did you buy a kitchen for example from ikea flat pack or is this made for your boat xx
Bought the cupboards + cabinets from Howdens, customised the cabinets to dit the boat, bought the oak worktop online x
