Thank you for the video, I just bought the wheeler sight remover tool, I’m going to remove sights on both S&W and Glock pistols, for myself and friends, with the video’s that are out there it does help.

Thanks for this video. You helped me make use of the wheeler I just bought to change the rear sight in my CZ P01. One thing I’ve learned about CZs (in my sample size of 2) is that the factory believes very highly in their rear sights. So much in fact that they create a bond that even the Incredible Hulk or Zeus would be unable to break when they install their 3 dot sights. I tried with the wheeler for about an hour before I found your video. Then after making really sure to square up the slide and be really precise on the height of the pusher, along with pushing the sight back and forth as per your instructions I finally heard a tremendous KRAK of the Hercules level bond breaking and I was able to slide that mother out. Putting the new sight in was easy by comparison so I’m worried that I’ve violated some law of the universe. Either way, thank you very much for this video. You cut down drastically on the amount of cursing I had to do tonight.

According to my instructions it said to mount the slide against the side in the direction you are pushing then tighten the other side and reverse when reinstalling the new sight. That way the slide is straight for removing and installing the sights.

I put masking tape on slide sides to help protect finish of the slide

Three letters, MGW. That's the only tool to use when it comes to removing and installing sights without any scratch marks. Yes, the tool is pricey but there's a reason why it is. It just works!

Sir great video. I know this is an old video but, did you ever use this sight pusher to change the M&P Shield front sights? I have full size, compact, compact 2.0 and Shield and I'm trying to decide which tool might work best for me. Trying not to buy multiple tools if I can avoid it. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for your response brother, I really appreciate it. That was my only concern about buying it, I have really bad experiences with the "gunsmiths" in my area. The last one they had to replace the sights with Trijicon night sights took them a whole month. Got it back and the front sight was not properly installed and to "fix it" they took 3 weeks. I hate to pay this people when I know I can install them myself and do a better job.

Returning my Wheeler pusher today, nicely machined, looks like it would work well.
Too bad it is terrible in actual use, slide lift is completely unacceptable, pusher offset from drive screw is just extremely bad design.
Wanted to like it but in use it is very poor at best.

Did he say to use Kroiling OIl to lubricate? I have Kroil, did he mean that?
