  • In this video we are rebuilding a farm wall in North Yorkshire Uk. When we started this build it was boggy so we used a crushed limestone base.

Top job mate, very tidy. Thanks for the upload. Repairing and rebuilding some Napoleonic walls on the edge of Dartmoor at the moment. Tis a fine craft!

I like all of your videos, but this one stands out. The fast action is cool.

Nice work. Out off interest why did you leave the protruding stones on the inside? Did the customer want this for some reason?

Just to match the existing wall further up the land, this was often used in the past to determine who owned the wall

Nice wall mate. How long did it take to do with just the 2 of you?

    Nice project and lovely results.
The 4 minute video would be better if it 40 minutes with explaining the batter frame angles, types of stone, design of the wall. The viewer will get far more out of of it.
    The current format feels rushed

absolutely beautiful. would it not be bet to use sand and cement render so that it's more secore? I'm just new into it. I find it really fascinating. Just a learner

You could use concrete if you wanted too but I usually only do that when it’s in a garden. ⚒
