Hello again. I've been away for a while, but now I'm gladly black.
As to UPRISING, if you look closely at the film footage, you'll notice, that parts of it are the original footage from 1944, especially the burning city.
That street clock showing 5 pm, that's the hour when the fighting started on August 1, 1944.
Sabaton took time to go to UPRISING MUSEUM in Warsaw, to learn the actual history of that battle which lasted 63 days without any real help from anyone.
I am a Warsawer in fourth generation. A lot of my family members fought in Warsaw Uprising, not all of them survived.
This song is very special for me and it's done beautifully.

Warsaw Uprising 1944 was a tragic 63-days part of 6-year WW2 for Poland. Most of young people fighting there were members of Grey Ranks former harcerze (scouts). They were messangers, sabotagers and helped with first aid. The older ones were soldiers with guns. I have a great respect to them. They loved the country so much they sacrified their lives for Poland. The resistance was lost I understand they couldn't just sit quietly when Germans occupied. Thanks for your reaction,

I did have a chance to see Sabaton live in Bucharest and I jumped at it like a rabid dog. It was the best night in recent memory. If not the best night in my life.
