- I love sgraffito and also like to apply it to black coarse clay. I make colored slips with Mason stains and carve through them. I love the contrast with the black clay. More on Mason stains in a future video!

Beautiful piece Monique. So interesting to see the sgraffito on black clay. Amazing! My sister and her husband just returned from Curacao and loved it. They have persuaded us to join them there for two weeks next year. It sounds like you live in a beautiful corner of the world :)
Thanks Lisa! Curaçao is also a beautiful caribbean island. However, Bonaire, although just 40 miles away, is very different. For a holiday I'd go to Curaçao unless you are a scuba diver, then Bonaire is a good choice. I am very blessed to be living here!
