I recently bought one and so far mine works pretty good 👍.
I just got mine and turned it on and it appears to be struggling. I wasn't sure if I unlocked it properly. I'm going on by the position you have it and will try it again in a few after it cools down. Thank you for this video! Blessings! ❤

Does it matter which way the scented pads are facing? Your review and the instructions themselves on the pads package are opposite for me

You can use 1 tablespoon of vapor steam for every quart of water you add to the humidifier. You can add about 4 tablespoons I recommend starting with one and see if you like the strength. If not, you can go up but don’t go more than 4 tablespoons
Had mine running last night, unplugged it before going to bed. Now it won't work at all this morning. No lights at all.
I have steam coming out but no vapor. The amount i put in last night is still there this morning
Put three caps of the liquid vapor into the water directly. I found that it works better this way.
Can you use equate liquid steam in the water tank?
Yes that’s what I use. I use two cap full I wouldn’t use more then 3 to 4 cap full.
The machine says don't add anything to the water but the solution says add it to the water
@@eddiesgsr yes that is correct, do as you please. I added to my water and it works just fine. I like it a lot better than the vapor pads.
Can you put essentials oils on water with the steam?
I haven’t tried it but I’m pretty sure you can. Just add a few drops. I wouldn’t mix it with the Vicks medicine but on its own it should be fine
The black paint where it heats up completely came off of mine what should I do ?
Same thing happened to mine. Make sure it is cooled down and unplugged. Clean it off with a brush and water. Then continue to use it as normal. It shouldn’t cause any problems. It’s just the paint coming off the heating element.

I have bought three the base heater works great but the glass plastic reservoir breaks easily I found spraying it with flex seal after taping up the water valve on both sides works great spray it with two rounds of spray letting it sit overnight makes it three times harder to break and well worth the flex seal ❤

The machine sounds like a boiling kettle-Nothing quiet about it?
@@careyviljoen5053 you need to keep it clean. It probably has buildup for not washing it. Sometimes it bubble but it shouldn’t be loud. Most of the time is quiet.
I know I sound stupid, but do I keep the brush in it while its running?
Yes, as long as it’s in it’s holding place. The one place you want to make sure nothing gets into is where the vapor comes out of, at the bottom of that is the heating element.

Is it supposed to bubble?
Yes
Thank you it was bubbling over like almost boiling and I figured out what was wrong I had calcium buildup and needed to clean the heating element it’s fine now!
Mine isn't bubbling but have som3 steam
The smell is not coming out of mine and I put the pads in
I use the liquid vapor. It seems to work better. I just put two capfuls in the water the pads for some reason don’t really work that well. just use the instructions on the Vicks vapor liquid. It should tell you how much to put in per gallon of water.
I don't smell mine much either and not bubbling. Some steam but not like when I first started using it.
@@sarahrullo5164 check out my video on how to clean the humidifier that might help with the steam output. The vapor pads don’t really work too well I use the liquid version of it

So the pads are not connected to anything. No air go thought, no water nothing. How they supposed to work?
I honestly just use the liquid.
