I’m not part of your discord but I love your video and if I could make a music suggestion I ask that you play the “Bozner Bergsteigerlied”(pretty sure I spelled that right) or otherwise known as “wohl ist die Welt so groß und weit“. This is one of my favorite tunes and I such I would greatly appreciate it.
In germany the navy and airforce are not part of the land army, the Heer, but ther own unique destinct things. Only nation I know that had such a arrangement was the japanese ww2 army, the airforce was either part of the land army or the navy, they didn't have a destinc airforce command structure. MEaning while in germany hte fighter and bomber wings are commanded by a airforce officer, who talks to and coordinates with other parts of hte forces, in japan a genreal could have X amount of planes as part of his army/comandstructure, which he could orger around without consulting anyone else.
HOWEVER everyone serveing in the armed forces of the federal republic of germany is a Soldier. So yeah you are correct to call sailors soldiers if oyu talk from a german perspective.
