    The kit looks great and i checked out your ebay price and it's pretty fair. I have a 3D printer so i think I'm going to design a kit and print it

    Nice man!! Great advice. Finally working on my quad myself now. I brought it to the same dudes that detail and tune my VTEC so I can constantly be passing mustangs, but their specialty is definitely just JDM vehicles, I realized that when they didn't "plumb it up" the way I like it! Dude couldn't lay the pipe for the life of him either. Wish I remembered to disconnect the battery tho. That hurt a lot, but I did kinda like the pain

    Awesome job. I did the same thing to mine last year. Only difference is that I extended both engine intakes off the warrior adapter up into the pod. That way my engine has even more protection. Glad to see someone come up with this and put it for sale.

    These bikes require so much modding for basic trail riding/mudding. Just bought a 21 850 ultimate trail and Im really really regretting not getting canam xmr
    I would turn around your air intakes, I get back sinks first but they gonna drink rain and splashes easier there, stock it faces rear.

    • @SubLimation7
      @SubLimation7 Před 3 lety +1

      Ultimate trail fender flares are useless. If i ran snorkle behind vent like you did it would get lots of water if it rained or if I put my bike in reverse. Nice job though I'd pay you $1000 to do mine.

    Hi I'm not sure if you still have your machine but would be interested in knowing how it lasted. I put it on about 2 seasons ago and the tubing has now melted near the rear belt housing coupler. Could be the tubing i used i guess

    Did you leave enough slack in the tubing to remove the clutch housing to do a belt replacement??? Nice work man.

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes i installed mine with the tubing relaxed and not stretched. So there should be enough slack & room to remove the cover but i would unclamp the move the tubing out of the way if at home.

Sorry alot of time, effort and research, buying, modifying parts that didnt work to finally come up with a complete comprehensive kit that works and looks professional. To do it correctly is a costly process. I think ive shown you folks enough of my tips & tricks. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you very much for the video. I have a question. Does it not create problems and damage the variator belt in the summer when the weather is hot?

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 5 měsíci

      Not at all, routing the fresh air intake tubing to the front brings cooler air to the PVT system. Factory PVT intake piece pulls air from above the hot engine

  • @davidmcfadzen3737
    @davidmcfadzen3737 Před 3 lety

    I hope you dont have issues with heat build up coming from your belt exhaust hose like I did, I did a similar design with 2 inch hose and i noticed the belt box wasn't cooling fast enough with the long restrictive hoses, i am an aggressive rider though not sure on your style. Figured it would be to hard on belts so I put it back to stock. Also once your in a water wheelie your rear belt exhaust works like a cup upside down in water and keeps the water out. Best of luck though 🍻

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety +1

      Will see, i am installing a temp sensor in the PVT housing so i can monitor it.

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety

      There is an acceptable level of heat that can be sustained. We need to understand that further. Warmer tires always grip better, etc... How hot exactly did it get? were you able to measure the temps with a something? A factory setup is still going to get hot no matter what by its inherit nature. The primary has fins in it to act as a fan/impeller. I made sure on my routing that it has fresh cool air and the exhaust dumps in a spot that is not confined. Very important.

  • @danieltorres2044
    @danieltorres2044 Před 2 lety

    I like this kit but is that hose 1.5" ?? Would it restrict the air a bit .. I see you also installed a temp sensor is the reason being heat issues??

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 2 lety

      Thats all that can fit along side the motor. If 2" would if fit i would run 2". But its not possible The inside is a smooth bore so it helps with airflow. Other hoses have a spiral which cause turbulence and less flow. No heat issues yet, i installed it to have some actual data verse speculate

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety

      It is price appropriately. It is a professional automotive grade kit i have developed and that took alot of time to piece together. This all has a value and a cost. If you want hardware store prices then just go to the hardware store and buy a bunch of bulky PVC fittings and tubing that will eventually leak.

      From what i can tell looking at a parts diagram the S models have a different/duct snorkel piece, thats it. But PVT location and port size looks to be the same as a standard XP 1000 to me.

    I think you are charging too much for that kit. I understand you researched it all out but come on dude 400USD for that? I would think the parts cost less than $50. Awesome job and very clean looking. Just too pricey for me unfortunately. Cheers and happy trails!

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 2 lety

      well if you dont see the value dont buy it. It takes time to source and modified the parts for the kit. Would you do that for free? Im going to guess no. Its a complete kit no trips to the store or other BS etc. Comes with everything you need and i get hit with ebay fees and have to pay for shipping. It all adds up. The proper hose itself is more then $50. This is not a home depot special, those DIY projects last not even one season. So you get what you pay for... No PVC bulky junk here. Ive had plenty people buy my full kit.
