- Arnarstapi is a village on the southern side of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It was once a fishing hub and an important trading post with a larger population than now. The area has several old and charming houses with interesting stories to them and is renowned for its beautiful nature.
Columnar basalt, ravines and grottoes surround the Arnarstapi pier and is home to a large arctic tern colony. A walk along the coastline is recommended to watch the birds and the magnificent lava formations. The seaside and the cliffs between Arnastapi and Hellnar have been made a Natural Reserve in 1979.

I loved this place!
I couldn't agree more
I even wanted to swim... In this cold but clear water. Madness.
I get it, looks inviting
Anarstapi, cuyo significado desconozco, es un lugar muy bello e impactante, donde los acantilados parecen auténticas esculturas.

Thank you for another lovely video. What a beautiful place. We enjoy the fabulous quality and colours of your films which do Iceland justice! We can’t quite believe the steadiness of your filming with hardly any ‘bouncing’ ! which makes them incredibly peaceful to watch. We watch them on our TV for the full affect! Best wishes from the UK Wendy and Geoff
They are best viewed in tv for the full immersion. Thank you both so much for the kindness, Wendy and Geoff.

Ég hef fylgst með myndböndunum þínum og rásinni í meira en ár, þau eru dásamleg, alveg eins og landið þitt. Ég heiti Dvanildo, kveðja frá Brasilíu, og hvað heitir þú. Kveðja
Takk fyrir Dvanildo.
