- Utah player cries and flops like a fish. Gets up in two seconds and looks at the refs. Refs stop the game and watch on the replay. Announcers even think there was a no call and incidental contact. Refs look at replay again..look at each other and call a "flagrant 1" And this is why people don't give a sh*t about college basketball. Refs rig the game..
I thought you were talking about the no-call on the travel....
not a travel by definition
He shouldn't have the basket count. The flagrant one foul was before the basket went in. That's a horrible call and the officials should be suspended for that.
Its up there, but the worst call in NCAA basketball history would be the debacle in the last 5 or so minutes of that rig job a few years back where Texas A and M was awarded a win over Northern Iowa in, what I reacall, was a sweet 16 match up. Talk about the refs swallowing their whistles while Northern Iowa got brutally assaulted. Then suddenly the whhistles worked again as the officials saw fit to foul out all of Northern Iowa's key players.
Worst conclusion of a tournament game I've ever seen. And I'm neutral on Northern Iowa or Texas A and M.
Oh yeah, and all Duke home games. Those are also the worst calls in NCAA history.
Got recommended to me 6 year’s after
wtf?? a little over the top with the title of the video don't you think!!! GOUTES!
Back when I played that was a travel…what the heck happened to the rules of the game?
Anyone honestly looking at the replay would see the offensive player hits the defender in the face with his elbow/arm, clearly an offensive foul at bare minimum...
How's that not a travel? RC
This is why I don't watch NCAA basketball anymore. They successfully sucked the joy out of the game. 5 minutes to review a typical basketball shooting motion to check for a flagrant foul!?!! Yeah, I'm very happy with my decision to walk away from that.
He did get hit, but only on the edge of his lip. lmao
Small edit needed for the title of the video. Change the second word to "Video".
Lol you can dislike the definition of a Flagrant 1, but you're completely wrong to say that there was no contact... He elbowed him in the face... accidental or not, there was contact between Wood's elbow to Bachynski's face, and there is no arguing that...
Face it Rob, you threw up ON Dean Wormer. Really??? Worst call in the history of CBB? Talk to Bobby Knight..
Obviously a travel before all this happened. No shot no nothing
His elbow never touched him. That’s just a classic case of flopping. 🤣🤣🤣
Here is the definition of Flagrant 1:
Flagrant 1 foul would be a player who swings an elbow and makes non-excessive contact with an opponent above the shoulders. The team whose player was struck would receive two free throws and possession of the ball.
Clearly the UNLV player makes contact with the Utah players face with his elbow. Pretty textbook definition.
Derrick Hisatake he didn't swing his elbow....it was debatable, I guess, but it should've been a non-call. Regardless, Utah was a better team, so the point is moot.
Stupidest call I have ever seen. Absolutely rediculous
Sucks to lose, huh?
How many striped idiots does it take to make a wrong call ? 3 will do !
Lets go Utah! Lets go Utah!
Utah player was elbowed in the face
There definitely was contact. Utes took over Vegas! Go Utes!
GO UTES
