Hey man Im 5’5 and I can tell you that I can play with people up to 6’1 easily. Im only saying this to motivate you, not as a brag. I mainly use my jumper and some floaters in my moves set but it works. I can even get to the rack and finish over 6’ tall people. Its all about confidence and knowing what you can and can’t do. Now playing against 6’8 D1 hoopers is another thing but if you put in the time then you can play with taller dudes no problem my man.

As a short man, you can manipulate your bigger defenders by using your speed and low angle advantage, that opens the court for your teammates to score easy buckets or for you to get a clean path to get your floaters. Dribbling hard and using the free arm it's mandatory... don't be scared to play physical and showing no fear is also a must. Naturally you will average less rebounds and taller players would like to attack you just by how you looking as a dwarf playing ball, but you have to keep your ground and show them you are not a joke in defense.

If you have quick feet being short gives you an advantage when moving around screens & recovering. Im 5’8 and I can lock down 6’2+ hoopers as long as they don’t start to post me up. You can literally get under them defensively from being so short & they will always underestimate your defensive so it works to your advantage

I learned from playing guys at his size. On defense u cannot play around with them over dribbling Bc once u do a move they can recover so quick. Or they know what you are about to do before u do even do it. Gilbert arenas was saying this about earl boykins. He had to learn how to let the 2 guard bring the ball up Bc boykins was as fast as him if not faster. So once he learned that he waited to get the ball at half court and then it wasn’t much that boykins could do.

@@MuckNoya for example, there's no lift mechanism that alters the height of the basket according to the height of the person, there are no rules against a 6'7" defender guarding a 5'5" defender, there are no weight classes (like in fighting sports), etc.
