I painted my daily using some Rustoleum and 2K clear. I did encounter similar problems with the bugs. This came out looking great. For your tires, look into permanent tires stickers. I painted the set I got and added a vinyl clear coat over them. Great video

Hey I take my hat off for an outside paint job air craft paint remover works great gets everything off then you use an epoxy primer then paint it that’s if you want to really go crazy look purity good better than it did look 👍

What you can do is roll on a coat or 2 with a roller & let it dry a few days then sand it down with 500 or 800 grit. This will give you a thinker coat then you can spray it again with the gun. what is your mixing ratio ?? You can buy Japan drier & some Tractor cat. hardener makes the paint glossier & the Japan dries it faster. Have you seen WHITLEY AUTO WORKS or GT Performance they show their mix ratios kool channels
